It’s a good camera system but it’s a hard thing to take down and charge every two or three weeks! It works well and is clear as long as u manually set it from day to night (another draw back) as needed! I luv that I can review and watch live, keep, any footage I want or need from my iPhone! And download from my PC to a thumb drive! I feel safer all the way around, home or away!!

Overall I love it, gets the job done. However, motion sensors will blow up ur phone and emails with notifications. My suggestion is to play with the settings and if your pointing the camera towards a busy street, forget about it, 100s of notifications and the battery will die in days. The picture quality is 720p and the walkie talkie future, I believes only works when your on wifi. I think a software update is needed

These were very easy to install and get up and running in under half an hour, from out of the box and set up. We live in a fairly quiet and secure neighborhood. And yet, my wife says she feels safer with these cameras installed. I installed the Arlo app on her phone and she says she is more at ease with the option of being able to get notified that someone is out there and that she can view them and find out just who is out there. Thanks for the piece of mind Arlo brings to her, and to me as well.

Great cameras. The only drawback to the overall product is the batteries. If they had a battery that will last one year more. Before charging it would be much better.

I was hesitant due to the high price tag but justified the cost due to the ease of set up. The range on these little cameras is excellent when compared to the wireless camera systems you find on Amazon. However, I ended up returning this system because of one major flaw. These cameras only turn on and record when they detect motion. Which would be fine except, they take about 5 to 10 seconds to warm up and show/record a picture once they detect motion. 5-10 seconds is an eternity for a SECURITY camera system. Most of my captures are of nothing because whatever/whoever tripped the motion sensor is long gone before the cameras pick anything up. That and they are only 720p. For the money, you'd think 1080p would be a given but then again, maybe 1080p would wear the battery down to fast. I loved everything else about this system, the software is the best I've used, the alerts are easy to set up. I had them set up for a week, my driveway camera recorded about 90-110 30second clips a day and when I returned it, all four cameras showed almost full battery life left. Overall I think it has great potential but until they can figure out how to get these cameras to be instant on, I'll have to pass.

I recently purchased a 4 camera pro set. Setting up the cameras was easy and quality of everything is very good. Setting up the camera schedules is a nightmare. There are not good directions with the camera, on youtube or on the Arlo website. I finally went to the Arlo community for help and got conflicting advice none of which worked. I then went to Arlo directly. The first agent I spoke with was a total waste. He put me on hold 5-6 times when he went and asked someone else for information. The next 2 were ok but my camera schedule still did not work correctly. the 4th agent got my schedules working correctly. There needs to be vast improvement with the scheduling software. I am very surprised no one else seems to point this out. I am no computer expert but setting the cameras up with different schedules should be simple but it is not. Everything else is very good. I almost returned the set because of this scheduling issue. I was not trying to do anything complex just 2 cameras on all the time and 2 cameras on from midnight to 6 AM daily. Not as simple as it sounds.

It was awesome not having to run designated electric or video cable.it's just a matter of putting up a mount per camera kind a like putting up a picture on your wall. The magnetic mounts are even pretty Nifty. The only drawback is their software is limiting and how detailed you can adjust the video recording time and things like that. I wish more CS support was available instead of relying on the ARLO community for Q& A.

The Arlo Pro is nothing short of amazing. It's wireless. The batteries last for up to 6 months. They are totally rechargeable. Be sure not to misplace the charge cable. Six months is a long time to not think about the charge cable. LOL There is night vision. You can focus the camera in on one localized area to record every time. The cloud storage is free up to 7 days. After that you images are gone unless you save them or have your pro system connected to an external hard drive. This system is just amazing. I won't use another one.

Love the concept of wireless and this works well in that manner, it's easy to set up too. The product could be so much better though. When I bought the Arlo Pro, I expected a little more. First off, it's picture quality is only 720p, this renders it useless to attempt to zoom in to your cameras to view in more detail. The picture is very pixelated when zooming in. 1080p should be standard.. very disappointed about this. You are paying $600-700 for this system, it should at least be practical to use and pixilation ruins this. There is also no ability to keep cameras on and review it the footage later... it only records when motion is detected and records for only 10 seconds. You can view what has been recorded in the 10 second snippets, but not constant footage. If this is adjustable, I certainly have not found the setting to change it. Cameras that are activated by motion often will drain the battery fairly quickly. The most used one lasted only two and a half weeks, and the package states one charge will last six months. This product can be great, but it's definitely not there yet. Wish I could have waited to purchase when they release the next version of this.

Easy to install. Each camera is required to either send a ten-second video or an alert, not just allow video monitoring with two-way audio. We have one in our living room that we would like to just be able to communicate remotely to family members if the need arises. So, it constantly sends ten-second videos even though we would rather it didn't. Also, would be nice to be able to have live video feed all the time.

I purchased these cameras as a way of keeping track of my kids when I'm away. My kids quickly discovered they could circumvent the cameras by simply walking very slow. The cameras wont activate if you walk past them really slow. Also, my children knew the cameras were active when the red LED's on the front of the camera would activate. THEY ARE DEFINATELY NOT CRIMINAL PROOF! However, I would recommend to a friend if the camera's are going to be used to simply check in on things once in a while.

Requires a powerful WiFi router as it all transfers over WiFi! Make sure you have them at correct areas! There is a small delay but I have them overlapping areas so even if one camera catches the back the other catches the front!
