Set up instructions did not indicate you would receive an email with password to initiate setup. Great pictures, day or night. Rechargeable battery cameras seem to hold charge very well.

I can hear everything when I look at my cameras on my phone. Great quality picture. I upgraded from the previous version because 2 of the cameras stopped working after a year but this one seems to be much better so far, connection wise through wifi.

Good picture. Captures everything. Battery life is good but you always want more. Ordering solar panels to get around having to charge which is mostly a hassle based on having to get on a ladder to retrieve and replace

Good Camera, I like the notifications and free 7 day cloud storage, I wish there was not a 2-3 second delay before recording starts but other than that a pretty good wireless system.

Good smart design, battery life is great. Mobile app is great and convenient. Great supplement to a home alarm system or for any use for that matter. If I ever move I can take it with me.

It is so simple and easy to install. Just pair with wifi router. The best!

I have used many brands of wireless security cameras and my favorite is now the NetGear Arlo Pro. All of the different brands have their own issues and quirks and you just have to decide what you can live with. You're not going to find a perfect system unless you spend thousands and have someone come setup if you don't want to climb in the rafters. You'd also need an electrician to setup up power where you don't have it. That would cost another few hundred dollars to thousands depending on the rates in your area and how much wire the electrician has to pull. You'd then have to ask a contractor to come and patch the drywall and paint unless you can do that yourself. This all adds up. The Arlo is easy to setup. I put up 16 in an hour and that includes syncing up to the base station. What took the longest in the setup process was placing the ladder and lugging it around.

I kept these cameras for 45 days but from day 1, I didn’t really like them. I don’t understand all of the good reviews. The system/app is extremely delayed and frustrating to use. When you’re pulling up the app, it takes a good 12 seconds for the app to load and by that time, the person is already at your door ringing the doorbell. Motion: I wasted 2 hours on the phone with tech support because my cameras are 3-4 minutes delayed in recording and sensing motion. It has no problem recording my trees moving, but if I am pulling up to the driveway, leaving the driveway, in the driveway, (pretty much anytime you need it to record), it does absolutely nothing! I was told it records side to side motion not when you’re walking directly toward the cameras. Makes no sense, but okay. Who doesn’t want a security camera that records motion from all angles? Another frustrating thing - when you have to swap out the batteries, you constantly have to re-sync the cameras! Who wants to do all that? Ain’t nobody got time for that. The battery life is actually not that bad! Which is why I am giving it two stars. I even purchased the eero mesh WiFi system because I really wanted these to work. These will cause nothing but frustration. If you want cameras that are similar to baby cameras, these are it. If you don’t need your cameras to notify you of motions and record, these aren’t bad.

Extremely easy camera to set up, but the only reason I only gave it 4 stars was because, in high traffic areas, the camera will die very quickly, within 2-3 weeks unless plugged in.

It's nice to have notifications about motion detection. Geofencing is a wonderful feature. There is some lag in the live camera view; however, motion detection seems to be accurate. Siren is loud and would annoy an intruder.

I like everything about the simple set up. I believe the quality is great for what I was looking for. I would like the app interface to be a bit better.

This camera security system is both easy to setup and efficient when running. The Arlo app allows you to watch the cameras from anywhere and also provides a microphone and alarm tab to click in case of an emergency.

Wireless indoor and outdoor security cameras are easy to install and set up. Very good range and picture quality - love to see what is going on outside my door with my phone.
