This camera system is easy to set up, does not require wires and has a decent picture. However, the base unit goes offline way too much. It's downtime makes it a poor choice if you really expect issues at your property. I use mine to just keep an eye on a vacation home. The online and phone app is OK, but you can only have one device viewing the system at a time.

The Arlo PRO models are vastly superior to the older, non-Pro model, but still not great: -- Some camera's sensors don't pick up motion as quickly as others and so you end up with a recording of just the last few "frames" of someone walking in the area you're trying to record. I even have the sensitivity set to 98%. -- Cameras/app still don't have an option to block out motion detection in certain areas of the camera's view -- I don't want the camera to trigger every time my neighbor's dog runs up to the fence between our properties. -- App is rather "deep" and slightly confusing, not intuitive -- trying to find options like sensitivity and record length you need to go many links deep into the app, and the names of the headers under which those links fall is not really intuitive. -- The video captured is not very clear unless you set it for max, then the battery runs out quickly. -- The camera lens is very wide and therefore very distant from the subject. I have a camera set at about 7 feet directly above a door, and you really can't make out a stranger's face until they are within 8 feet of the camera. Another camera I have at about 9 feet above and about 10 feet to the side of a door, and the video is virtually worthless -- too distant and too grainy.

This is one of the best investments I've ever made. Sound and picture quality is superb. Love that you don't have to pay for video storage. Holds a week.

This product is great as there are no wires to attach. A good wifi is all you need. The user manual could be a bit better but it's pretty self explanatory.

Very easy to install. Make sure you buy the one with rechargeable batteries. Using your phone is a nice feature. Plus it saves a week of video at a time.

Set up was a snap. Everything logged on with ease and worked great from the start. The only gripe is the batteries run down in days in high traffic areas.

Excellent image and sound quality. Love being able to answer my door using the microphone feature on the camera system. Comes in handy with solicitors.

got for kids house. they love being able to see their home on their phone when they are gone. Easy to install, so far no problems

Easy to setup and does the trick. Good quality images and pretty wide field of vision. Price point is a tad high, but needed the functionality

We wanted a wireless motion detector camera and this fulfill the need. Have not had any problems yet.

Overall a great system. The only reason I gave it 4 stars, is because when set to motion activation, I wish it would keep recording instead of providing several short clips. There is a short delay in activation, and it stops upon lack of motion. If there is new motion it restart; therefore, I feel it may miss needed video between recordings. There is a 2 min setting but I believe it needs to be longer.

Portable, easy to place anywhere. Decent battery life (lasts about a month or so). Would last longer but sometimes the motion detector becomes extra sensitive and triggers every few minutes. Other times, works just fine. I usually disarm the system, turn off the camera for a few minutes and then turn it back on and re-arm and resolves the sensitive motion issue.

This product has been amazing for my home. The camera battery life has lasted 2 months before needing charged and is very dependable.

Bought arlo after I noticed things disappeared, i installed it within 30 min and cought someone snooping within 3 days so its already paid for itself

Are good easy to install if your wifi is not good take a while to load The battery lasts maybe 2 to 3 months

I feel more secure with the camera system that includes alerts on cell phone when motion is detected. Video is clear. Option to use live view included.
