Basic monitoring and security w/o a monthly fee. Easy to setup.

I bought the camera to put in house and around the outside. I wish I had 1080p for the outside as the quality outside isn’t great. Inside of the home it works well however you cannot charge a camera from the base, it keeps saying it incompatible. The only other annoying thing is it sending alerts to the phone way too often.

Easy setup, very good viewing area plus a week of cloud video recording included. Have only had them on about a month but so far so good with battery performance. Takes a little time to get the settings the way you want them and also a little tricky to add rules. Overall it's seems like a great camera set especially because it is completely wireless.

We bought these cams because of the battery powered option. They sustained a charge for several months of on and off usage. Our subsequent attempts to recharge after the initial purchase have failed with errors from the app. Arlo support recommends using their proprietary charger (don’t lose this!), but that did not resolve our issue...nor did restarting the base station, resetting everything, pulling the batteries, etc. Don’t worry though because Arlo offers a $60 battery charger to fix these charging ills (LOL)! Meanwhile our indoor Nest cameras have worked flawlessly. I will be replacing this garbage with another brand. Would never buy again and this has given me doubt about any future Netgear/Arlo purchases.

I already owned 2 cameras and the base unit and really only wanted to buy 2 additional cameras. It cost more to buy 2 cameras only than it does to buy the whole set again. Doesn't make sense. Now I have a spare base but would have preferred to save money on the cameras instead of buying equipment I didn't need.

Was recommended to me. Good wireless system. Good quality night vision. Easy set-up. Not cheap. Additional features for family sharing, siren button, & microphone to talk like an intercom. Purchased another one for my grandparents home to keep a watch on the health-aids caring for them as my grandmother is blind & my granddaddy is mostly in bed.

Gotta love this model. The additions of a siren, 2 way audio, and higher resolution were well worth having.

This is a bomb camera. Works well and you don’t have to do much to get it up and running.

I think these are the best cameras for the money that I researched. Picture quality is exceptional.

I didn't want to spend the time running wires through my house so I purchased the Arlo pro. I liked the feature of saving your video to an attached external drive attached to the hub. I considered the Nest but it cost for cloud storage. The Arlo gives you 7 days. The only cons I have are it's a bit pricey and the night vision could be a bit better.
