I really like my cameras. It gives me what I am looking for

The set up was very easy and picture is very clear. A great way to keep a eye on the house while away.

The camera system was exactly what I wanted.....HD, remote control/viewing and wireless....completely but it just didn't perform like I needed it to, it would loose WiFi often, had connection/set up issues. Battery life was fair at best and I could only get 2 of the 4 cameras operating simultaneously.....just wasn't reliable.....and underperformed in my opinion and i think the high $$ was partially, just expected mire. In defense of the system, my WiFi connection almost certainly played a role but it was still 2.4ghz and according to the gentleman I talked with at Netgear that was and is the ideal setup. Anyhow they just weren't up to my expectations for the amount of money spent. I'd seriously research this whole genre before purchase as I did and felt good about the purchase but ultimately ended up with a Nest system and it has worked better from the very beginning!! With that said I still think it's a good product and would still recommend giving it a shot.

Great wireless camera. I will definitely be buying more cameras to expand my coverage in the near future.

Arlo Pro Security was easy to install and download App. Being able to see who is at front door is nice.

Bought beginning of Nov. 2017; and was very satisfied.....until Thanksgiving day! NetGear, the software behind the Arlo system had crashed; leaving MILLIONS around the world (and myself) without ANY security functions WHAT'S SO EVER!! Apparently there's a monumental flaw!! If they're down.... you're SCREWED! CAMERAS AND BASE STATION OFFLINE....on a holiday weekend when most are away from their homes!! Us, the consumer, were left with NO ANSWERS or peace of mind. Still....no NetGear support. No one is answering at the support phone number or online. UNACCEPTABLE!! SAVE YOUR MONEY and by a different system.

Setup- Easy. No problem getting plugged in, setup, and synced Operation- Unfortuntately, the delay in the communication w cell/wifi is slow and the two way audio delays make it hard to interact Range- Our biggest issue is that the Arlo seems to rely on the network created by its base station rather than the home wireless network. Challenging for a large home. We found that cameras in adjacent room had a good signal, but the range (granted in a home with lots of walls and plaster and lathe construction) was more like 30 feet. Overall- Had to return it, as only a few camera locations would work for us given range, and two way audio doesn't compare to Google cams. Here's hoping the execution comes closer to the idea in the near future Note- Make sure you return to Best Buy within allotted time frame. We tested first day and re-boxed. Then went out of town and returned in 15 days. Best Buy only offered store credit. VERY DISAPPOINTING
