Absolutely love this system and for once when it says wire free it means it.

One camera does not work properly going off line frequently. Four cycles of troubling shooting with tech support supports that the problem is within the one camera (the base station and the other cameras and all batteries perform as intended). I have asked them to allow me to send the one camera back for their inspection repair or replacement but they continue to respond asking more question often repeating previous requests. By the time I realized how this was going to proceed it was too late to ask Best Buy to exchange it. I recently purchased an add on camera to address my coverage concerns while working on resolving my camera problem. The arlo security system is very good I am pleased with it but I need to know technical problems can be addressed quickly since fundamentally security is at the core.

2ND SET FOR 2ND HOUSE SO EASY TO USE!! WOULD RECOMMEND THIS TO EVERYONE.

I wish the cameras were 1080p but the trade off is no wires. For my setup I didn't need continuous recording and didn't want to pay extra for storage or viewing so the Arlo setup is great. Video lag is as expected for a wireless setup. I was comparing this to Nest since I have the thermostat.

Great system once you figure out how to work it . The manufacturers directions are very poor. The in store service was great from the sales people and the General manager was great. I have recommended the Edwardsville store over any Best Buy that I have ever been in. We give it a 10 plus rating.

A nice little kit you can setup in less than 30 minutes has nice video and audio

Great camera. Hate wired and this WiFi camera does the job and more!!!!

1. Easy to setup and install. Need outdoor mounts though if not mounting inside. Magnetic mounts outside is stupid. 2. iOS app is fast to very slow to respond and is frustrating to use at times. 3. Camera motion detection performance is subpar. Even after Adjustment. Think of this system more as point very defined point surveillance system with mediocre motion detection performance. 4. Netgear/Arlo website customer support is nonexistent. Emailed and called and can't get a response. 5. Enticed by no fees for 5 cameras but quickly realized we needed more than five cameras to adequately monitor our home b/c the camera performance is so poor.

I bought it for my daughter make sure that she has security system in the backyard I like it because it's wireless and you cannot shut the low battery signal on your iPhone but I can't really give you an idea hi route to grade it because I got four and I'm gonna give it to her for Christmas

This Arlo camera is better than the last camera, because it now has a rechargeable battery and also has the ability to sound an alarm from the base station. Pretty much the same same camera but with a few upgrades. Now we just need a solar charger and this will be the best security camera ever.
