Love being able to see what's going on when I'm not home. The two-way audio is pretty great if someone's at the my at my house I can talk to him if I need to.The video resolution is great also.

The picture quality isn't they best but it's definitely good enough considering the price jump for the next best. One con though is that they aren't very useful for a large area.

Best video system I have had thus far. I have used Nexia, D-link and even a hard wired VCR.. none hold a candle to the Arlo. So easy to set up and really easy to access online through app. Love the alerts.

Excellent camera, was very easy to set up . I followed the set up instructions which were simple to follow. I got the single one to investigate the quality and use . Will be buying more to add on.

Great system to monitor both day and night. The only issue is that if we set it on geoconferncing then it does turn off once we are home but then it doesn't turn itself back on at a certain time of night.

I got this just so I could see when people were coming to my door and check on the kiddos. The alarm went off every time a truck on the street passed by. (Annoying) The camera was pretty decent quality-until it wasn’t. I changed the camera and after about 6 months, only the night vision worked and it was too much of a hassle to get the repairs done. So it is literally sitting on my nightstand useless. Waste of money for me.

Excellent product for an all in one wireless system. You can add an external drive to save recordings. Great online community support page answering most questions regarding setup.

I was a bit skeptical about buying this system. It has great clarity and the ability to zoom in/out. I have to charge every 2 weeks due to having a busy household, thats the only bummer.

I purchaaced these cameras several weeks ago, I have not had a chance to set them up completely to see how well they work. The research I was able to complete shows that they should be incredible though .

I bought 1 for my front door about 6 months ago. In the first month it caught suspicious activity at my front door. Ive been waiting for a 4 set to to go on sale. With no luck so I just bought it anyways. Going to do all blind spots outside my house. WORTH EVERY PENNY.

good camera but I wish you could control which ones record and when using smartthings. You can arm them all and when intrusion detected they all record. You have to disable the camera for it not to record.

The cameras have great picture and I like being able to access from my phone at any time. We purchased in October and have had to charge twice. The first time we assumed it was because we were accessing live feed so much but the second would not have been the case so no where near the battery life advertised. Cameras also take a while to actually record after being activated so sometimes miss the actually activity that triggered them. They also say weather proof but start having issues when temps hit the 30s. All in all they are OK. They do the job but I would not rave about them.

There’s cameras are great. They pick up signal past my garage into the street. You can adjust the signal distance. The app is very easy to use. I do recommend to purchase the solar battery so you don’t have to take off to charge

Only real complaint is the geo-fencing is not reliable at all. Also not easy to set up the app but once it was set the cameras work well.

    Lag Time Issue

The system is nice looking and relatively easy to set up. However, one of the cameras was not working properly and could not sync. Working with Netgear representatives was difficult because of long hold times. Also, there was a lag time issue, and the cameras did not pick up on the newspaper delivery person if the person walked quickly no matter where the cameras were placed. Finally, the battery life was short, so it would require climbing up on a ladder frequently to recharge the batteries. The system is better suited for indoors. I ended up returning the system.

I upgraded to arlo pro and don't regret it. Have 3 regular arlo cams and 2 pro. I use the pros in areas I want to detect motion because I can recharge batteries. I wish the audio out was louder though

I should have read some of the reviews before purchasing the Arlo 2 camera. I currently five Arlo cameras around the house and they work fine. I wanted to replace the one above the garage with an Arlo 2 so I could get better quality images as there are teenagers breaking in the cars in the neighborhood. The garage camera is on a solar panel so I don't have to change the battery and it can last about a month before I need to replace the battery. I installed the arlo 2 four days ago and the battery doesn't last 24 hours. I have it set up just like the old one with motion set at 50, audio set in middle and to record for 30 seconds. the arlo 2 goes from 100% down to 10% in one day and the turns itself off. This is with it attached to the solar panel. There is a tread on Netgear about how poor the arlo 2 batteries are but I read that after I purchased it. I will not be buying anymore.
