It is better than nothing . It has a little delay and birds set it off some .

I was not expecting to like and enjoy this camera system so much. Being able to check in on things at my home at any time and get alerts on my phone when motion is detected provides a peace of mind I didn't know I was missing. Set up is super simple. Just plug in the base unit into your router. Put the battery packs in the cameras. Download the app on your phone and a few simple steps later your all connected and ready to place the cameras. Install is very easy. One screw and you can adjust the camera to any angle with the strong magnetic bracket. I installed one camera looking up my driveway in the front and one in the back of my house. Range is good for my home. One camera is about 100 ft from the base in the back yard and there are no connection issue. The system includes 7 days of cloud storage for free can be upgraded for a monthly fee. So far 7 days is all I have needed, plus you can download videos at any time to your phone or computer and save them manually. The cameras are motion activated, and the system records in 10 second chucks. It will continue to save these 10 second videos as long as there is motion to keep the camera active. This 10 second interval allows for quick download and viewing when streaming, even on my less than average quality internet service. Picture quality is very good, and the night vision is excellent as well. Also the sound quality is far better than I expected. You can hear footsteps in the video and hear voices clearly. Battery life has been excellent. I have had the cameras in operation for 3 weeks and the battery meter on the app has not dropped one tick. My only complaint so far is the camera design allows rain water to drip down and cover the camera, making the picture quality very bad in the rain. I'm probably going to install a small cover for the exposed camera to keep rain water off of it. Overall, I'm very please with this camera system and would recommend this to anyone looking for a great, easy to use wifi camera system, indoors or out.

The Arlo security system that we purchased is awesome. I think we made a good choice to further secure our family/home.

Works nice since I want to keep an eye on my house. But I get too many notifications throughout the day when there is no movement. Also I dislike that there is such a long delay in recording when there is actual movement it needs to record....

I informed the sales person that I was purchasing them for my small childcare center. I was told the cameras would only need to be charged every 6 months. I am having to charge them every week! Which is very time consuming and means that the rooms are not being monitored at that time.

Had an older Arlo camera set. Upgraded for sound! Love that my old cameras can connect to this unit as well

Had a little trouble getting one of the cameras to connect.Just disconnected it and tried again worked. Very clear images.

Has audio and video and can be plugged in permanently if you don’t like having to recharge.

Great product for the money and gives a person an added line of defense.

Bought as an option to not have a monthly payment for security system and just love the product great option

This is our 3rd Arlo camera and we love it. It covers a wide range of sight and is reliable.

Dissapointed in this system. Picture quality is below 720p more like flip phone video and lets mention the 10 second delay. Sometimes it picks up motion and.....sometimes it does. For $256 I really have buyers remorse.

Great product but doesn't record looping. Bit of a delay but great overall.
