After much research, we landed up purchasing an Arlo camera system a few weeks ago. Shortly after purchasing, the Arlo Pro was announced. We were able to swap out models under the 14 day exchange period, although the Pro was about $160 more than the Arlo. Pros: Great picture. Clear in the daylight, and acceptable at night. Rechargeable Battery: Promises 6 months of use, but only time will tell. When you need to recharge, you plug the camera into the charger. Ease of installation: Takes maybe an hour from opening the box to sitting on your sofa with a beer watching your cameras. Wireless: No wires to install, makes it easy to move cameras around as needed. Alarm: Tested it out, and it is LOUD! Can be set to go off upon motion detection (wouldn't recommend. It's very loud) or can be set off remotely via the app. App: Sends notifications (if enabled) when motion is detected. Easy to change settings, and operate. Cons: White color isn't easy to hide on dark surfaces. Magnetic attachment points could prove to be problematic if installed within reach of someone who doesn't want to be recorded, or if they decide they want your cameras. Overall- Great product so far. I really like the wide viewing angle, and for the few short hours I spent taking the old version back, I felt anxiety not being able to look at my house whenever I wanted. Definitely gives peace of mind. Pair with a monitored security system and you should be set.

Easy to install. Camera works in the low light and dark.

This has given me a sense of security and it was easy to install. I love the speaker option also.
