I will never purchase this brand again. The cameras record a few seconds after they see movement which is no good when you need to see what direction someone is coming from. The battery life of the cameras is so false i barely get a month out of one of the cameras and they state i should bet three months of continuous usage. Numerous times there is a connection issue that makes it unable to view the video feed but my network is working perfect and fast, considering the base station is hardwired directly to the internet and not wireless this problem should not exist but constantly does. Camera quality is poor and useless. If you need to zoom in on footage, it is worse quality then a 2005 smartphone camera. Firmware updates dont install properly and block access to the camera and video feed until the update is complete, even though the unit will not update itself. This is extremely unsafe for a security system to block access until you update the system. This is the most unprofessional security camera system i have ever come accross. Just because its wireless and drill free, its more of a hassle and aggravation, these are NOT PROFESSIONAL SECURITY CAMERAS, if anything they are mediocre home security cameras. I feel a hunters camera that attaches to a tree is more powerful and usefull then this arlo set. If you need quality and reliability do not trust arlo for your needs. Highly disappointing with the quality and price. Stay away unless you need a cheap home security camera but dont plan on getting much useful footage if you ever need it for an emergency or the authorities... good luck!

Arlo Pro will only record few seconds clips. External back up is completely useless. Unless your power is out and u have an incident u need to view. Can only view cams on one device, unless u invite ur self on different emails, accounts, usernames and all. The absolutely only two things good about it is being wireless and a long battery life. Nest Cam wins by a long shot.

I purchased the Arlo Pro 4 pack camera. The base system and 3 of the cameras installed and sync fine. The 4th camera would not sync. After troubleshooting online, but not finding a resolution, I tried calling Best Buys "Expert Service". However, none of the SIX technicians I was transferred to "handled" Arlo Pro. Best Buy does not know how to support this product, so beware of buying here.
