Only complaint is the interference that some WiFi networks may present but the most recent update has made that much better

Gave this as a Christmas gift to my son who is a gamer and nothing else mattered after he opened this one. He absolutely loves this headset!

Only differences I can tell from the older A50 model is the charging base. No feedback noise in headset that the older unit had as well.

And it works 90% of the time. Couple issues with the firmware that require you to totally drain the 15 hour battery before fixing.

I purchased this headset and was immediately amazed at how well it performed! I had to update the firmware, but this device is a beast!

This headset is very comfortable and has great sound when it works. However, for me it cut out very frequently. There would be 3-5 second breaks in the sound ranging from 3-50 times per hour. I tested this set with two different playstations (original and Pro) and tried different optical cables and USB cables. I also reviewed Astro Gaming's web site for the proper sound and chat settings on the PS4. However, these audio cut-outs were always there. My much cheaper PS4 Gold headset never has this problem. Reading other sources, it seems this is not an uncommon problem with the Gen 3 A50s on both the PS4 and the Xbox One. I'd recommend waiting for clear evidence whatever is causing many people to have this issue is resolved before purchasing.

This headset is good . . . Obviously. You don’t spend this much and not get quality. You get what you pay for, plain and simple

Love the headset, make sure to adjust setting on command center and update the firmware, it helps with any mic issues people might have.
