Customers are saying

Customers regard the A50 Wireless Headset's sound quality, comfort, and battery life as its strongest features, with many praising the immersive audio experience and long-lasting power. However, some users experienced connection issues and noted the relatively high price point. The wireless functionality was also a plus for many, although a few mentioned limitations in range. While some found the fit comfortable, others commented on the headset's weight.

Had them for 6 months and they won't charge

I have only had these 6 months and they will no longer charge at all and the kicker is I barely would use them maybe once or twice a week. Also, they were nothing but trouble since I got them disconnecting every like 5 10 seconds when I'd use them would get old fast when trying to play games like PUBG and Siege.

Major flaw: the plastic placement holders for the headset wear down overtime and then don’t work

The headset is great when playing any game. However, this headset has a bad battery drain when console is turned off.

I have the headphones for a little bit over a year. I started having problems, I gave them a call and ask him if they could prepare them at my expense. They said there was absolutely nothing they could do and gave me a $20 off coupon to buy a new pair. I paid over $400 for these headphones and they can't even fix them. I'll never buy from them again

Even thogh this headset is pricey we were excited to purchase them after reading all thr great reviews. Guess what the ps4 we have doesn't have the port for these and yiu have to buy other parts for the tv to connect them. No where on the box did it mention this. Useless. Took back purchased a another headset that was cheaper and they are awesome

    Issues Constantly

Couldn't edit my last submission so have to put through a new one. This headset has had issues left and right multiple times per week and now an issue where it won't even charge on the base station. I tried contacting Best Buy to get help and all they tell me since I am two weeks past the return period to take it to a store and see if they will make an exception (which isn't possible for me). I also tried contacting the manufacturer (no phone number, only form to fill out on website) and have not gotten a response. Been an Elite member for years and can't get any help. Best Buy has lost my business and so has Astro unless they come up with a miracle.

Be aware buyers! This expensive piece of headphones, even though comfortable and sounds decent, the audio cutting out every few minutes gets really really annoying. Apparently there is no firmware update out there that will fix it and the support gives you now help!

Bought them hoping for the best, really wanting something better than turtle beach that I have that pop loud and really wasn't worth the investment. But these wouldn't work, called geek squad and we tried several things and couldn't even get sound out of them. Was really wanting to have wireless but I guess it's just not to be.

    great set of cans

So this was my first set of Astros..... I've been a loyal turtle beach fan until now the quality of turtle beach has been lacking as of late.... The newer versions break way to easy after multiple long sessions of play and in my opinion the ear force x41s were and will be my favorite set of turtle beach headset and work for both Xbox 360 and the xbox One quality and build and sound were awesome several years later and still kicking .. But the the need for a true wireless set finally called me..the few sets of turtle beach I've bought after the x41s broke the elite 500x and 800x... Both sounded great but both broke in the same spot right above the left ear cup and no way to repair or replace except popsicle sticks and electric tape.....two sets of both for a total of four and all four break in the same spot.. I call a design flaw... Cheaper plastic in my opinion because how can my x41s still be intact and older? So after five sets bought and the newest four break in the same spot.... Not good .... So now on to my review of my first ever Astros... Sound is amazing.. check my voice clear and sound Great check....comfortable for hours of play check...also wireless 100% check charging dock / stand awesome check....plus if you wanted the extra noise canceling mod an extra upgrade sold separately, its easy to pop in and out with magnets awesome (should come with both for price but that's my opinion ) fully charge and update firmware and off you go...the only issue I have with them on occasion and I believe it's on Xbox side of things is sometimes the mic will act like its not working... An easy fix to start a party and talk into the mic if you can see the ring glowing around your gamer tag...place the mic upright aka mute it and go to base station switch to pc for about five seconds and the switch back to Xbox never turning anything off and staying in party while doing this and after place the mic down aka unmute and talk and you should see the glowing around your gamer tag...i always start a party and check as soon as I boot up just to make sure I'm able to be heard and about 85% of the time I'm good the other 15% I do those steps above and works every time.. A minor annoyance but as I said before I thinks its an Xbox issue and not going to ding Astros for that...plus made of metal is a no brainer not going to break above ear cups best set of cans I've ever bought...
