It works as expected for the price. No real issues. A bit slow on start up. Updates take a while as well.

Great first time computer for a kids in school and for some on one who enjoys games. It is very durable and I would recommend it for the price.

We bought this for our niece who is going to be a college freshman this year so haven't used it ourselves. Haven't heard any complaints from her!

This has been a great computer for all my needs. I believe it takes care of any thing you need to do for a personal computer. Fantastic quality and hard drive memory. You could spent twice as much buying a "tower" with the same features.

I bought 4 of these for my employees and they work great. Would recommend for basic application multitasking (MS Office, PDF, email, etc.).

For this price point the system has been a versatile, reliable and capable choice for general use computing. It is suprisingly light weight but still feels well made. I have been a fan of Asus components for many years. This is the first pre-built Asus computer for me and likely won't be the last.

I purchased this item for my parents (late 50's) because their only and first laptop finally died. This laptop has all modern basic user interfaces (not touch screen). It does what is needed, email, word doc, web surfing and the occasional Youtube or flash videos. I will caution that modern Internet Browsers are extremely resources demanding and this laptop is on the slower end of the spectrum. Definitely a patience is required machine.

I would give this between 3.5 and 4 stars. Its a good laptop. Nothing very special. It is hard to tell if the caps lock is working.

My cousin recommended this brand & also a computer repair company did. Like the stainless steel brush look no fingerprints allover the laptop.

i needed an agv outlet for my 2nd monitor. it has one but no screw holes to keep it in place. I'll be using tape to keep it from popping out.

Performance is fine for a budget laptop. Laptop runs cool, nice small wall charger, and really not that much bloatware. This is my second ASUS laptop and I purchased this one for travel as it is light, good battery life, and if stolen or lost not that many $'s too replace. Overall very satisfied.

I don't why people complains about been slow all and having useless apps. All you have to do is delete them and the computer will be faster.

I bought a couple of these for my employees in the field. All the features we need for running our software and plugging in memory cards.

It is serving me really well. I use it mostly for browsing and Netflix, so it serves its purpose.

This is good for surfing the net and working. It is for people that don't need all the great specs and only used for daily activities.

i was surprised that this pc did not have a cap locks light. which really makes typing difficult. I had to download one.

Reason for rating 4 - is because the battery does not last long. which was surprising to me about ASUS - otherwise; great student laptop.

This laptop works well for emails and basic games. We purchased it for my parents so they can do emails, games and some Internet browsing.

Computer is excellent for my young daughter to do basic school work. Not overly powerful for advanced applications but gets the job done.
