I wanted a machine just to run basic applications and iTunes. I didn't realize the wifi doesn't pick up 5ghz and has issues sometimes w the 2.4. it's okay but should have bought up more

I tried to get a deal by purchasing an Open Box Geek Squad certified laptop. Wrong! The computer started crashing almost immediately. It could not be fixed remotely and I had to make an appointment to take it to Best Buy. This was an online purchase. I bought the laptop because I needed it to be able to take an online class necessary for my license. I was very upset and stressed out. Geek Squad said they had to send it out to be repaired. They gave me a refund and I had to spend 90.00 more to get a different laptop in the store that day.

The arrows for clicking the mouse and moving the screen up and down are small and unreliable. Have to repeatedly re click them. Very frustrating. Wish I had gotten a touchscreen

I got this computer as open Box. it did not came with the original box, manuals or anything else. I just got the power supply and the laptop. It did not matter for me since I paid a very good price for it. However when I turned on it had it still have the log in information from the person who previously purchase it, it seems someone at best buy they did not erased the information before placing it on sale again. I did not wanted to deal with other peoples set up. So I return it to the store for a refund.

I purchased this laptop due to the price and what seemed like decent specs. However, I was very wrong. From the very BEGINNING this laptop has been so sluggish- to the point of probably getting less than 30 minutes of use. I have not installed any software or done any web browsing, it is that SLOWWWWW! I will return this laptop.

Computer was fast only bought to back up I tunes and pay bills. After using 3 times you could no longer use the internet.

As I struggle with Windows 10, this product isn't easy to maneuver . I have had to contact the wonderful Geek Squad staff several times and they have rescued me.

Works well enough. Glad it was on clearance and open box. Problem is that the thing won't work without the cord plugged in and is only 6 months old.

Internal battery is a bummer. Had to send in for repairs twice. Motherboard replaced then keyboard. Service was quick considering the repairs.

this is the worse item i had. so slow, so lag. returned in 2 days.

Almost immediately, it stopped showing available network connections. The only option was to attach to internet via Ethernet cable. The wireless driver was apparently uninstalled, reinstalled it, still wouldn't connect, then tried factory reset and still didn't fix the problem. Finally bought a wireless network adapter and that has been the only thing that has fixed it. Again Best buy geeks were of no help.

It ok the sound button dose not work geek squad dose not help you out. It ok for music I agree with the sales man last 2 years.

Bought first one ,it shut down in 11 days,took to Geek Squad,they traded me another, same model,that one lasted 16 days ,took back to squad,they said you cant leave it pluged in ,gaines stadic charge to battery and bleeds to computer,and shuts it down??they got it started again,i took it home,charged it to 96% ,unpluged it,shut it down,Next day it wont start up ,took back traded for a DELL!!!!!

not what I would choose for someone who wants to do more than just go on the internet and write papers.

Would be a good computer for a younger person. I ended up taking it back for an I5 Asus 17.3" screen computer.

6 weeks old and got the blue screen of death. Now is a great paper weight. Keyboard felt a little cheap.

I bought this computer per recommendation of a geek at Best Buy in north canton Ohio. It broke within two weeks of purchase and I had to send to Asus for repair because I did not pay for geek squad which is outrageous. It should not have broke in two weeks after purchase. Best Buy would NOT work with me at all. Very horrible service and will never buy Best Buy again.

This laptop has been extremely difficult to use, in part because of all if the pre-loaded BS that pops up every few minutes. The battery life is 45 minutes tops, and Microsoft Edge is difficult to load and to navigate. Unfortunately, I didn't start using it right after I purchased it and it is past the 15-day return time - otherwise it would be back at Best Buy!

The laptop was ok and sufficient for my needs but the screen failed after 4 weeks. By that time I was back in UK and the ASUS people wouldn't honour the warranty. Best Buy are in New York and expect me to return to store. Not good.

Bluetooth disappears automatically and when you check properties it says "device disconnected" every time you have to reset your laptop to get it back, Bad experience with this laptop some kind of hardware issue and as I have crossed 15 day mark or return so no option or else i would have bought a better laptop than this even if i have to spend more.
