This computer was awesome but I purchased an open box item that was returned. Had Less than 24 hours and the thing froze up on opening screen, never did get it unfroze, just took it back to the store, said forget it. Why exchange and have another do the same. The whole 2 hours I actually got to use it and yes it was a nice computer .

This laptop is not up-gradable.. can't add memory or speed up. as is it's a little poky

I had problems with my first one, exchanged it for another one of the same and returned that too. I was only doing very basic things with this laptop, web searches, chrome casting, MS Office software. One day I turned it on and it just would not start. Next time, I'll spend a little more money and hope I get a better quality item.

My laptop has sat on a small table since I bought a year ago. It's never been dropped or used more than two or three times a week for internet browsing. Several weeks ago, I started getting warning messages about immenent hard drive failure. And today that's exactly what happened; click, click- the sound of death.

The space bar on this lap top takes 2 finger to use.

Before using first charged the laptop for 3hours per recommendation. Took about an hour doing setup of Id/password/etc. It is a very good basic laptop with bluetooth/Camera/4gb/win 10 home/1TB hard disk/dvd rom and is quite light at about 3-4 pounds. 720p screen is ideal for most situations. The keyboard too has a good feel to it and has full num keypad and touchpad works fine, no complaints here. WIFI works fine and did not disconnect even once after the purchase and usage. Boots up very quickly. Since it is Win 10 home, could not create multiple user id's on this laptop. Have been using it since 4 days now for at least 2-3hours per day. Is quite, fan noise and run cools. Netflix/ youtube/ go.abc.com all worked fine. Installed google chrome/Epic privacy/ browsers and they worked fine. For Security uninstalled mcAfee and installed Avira and Scotty; both very good products. CCleaner to clean junk files. Overall very good purchase, got this laptop dirty cheap for 250 plus tax. Best buy service is good too. Have purchased 2 laptops from them. Is a go to place for electronics.

It's not any faster than my smartphone. I shouldn't have listened to the salesperson.

Since my power port failed on my prior Asus, I elected to proceed with the purchase of this open box Asus laptop since it had been Geek Squad "certified". Unfortunately, it froze up numerous times, requiring a hard boot, only to freeze again. Item returned to Best Buy and purchased Q503UA. So far, so good with replacement.

A 1.6 hard drive stop working had to pay Norton Symantec $199 to correct issue. Hate purchase. Best buy only have 14 day obligation, that sucks as well. Booooo boooooo

Unless it is plugged in, the machine will power itself off.

Wasn't happy with the laptop returned and purchased another product.

I found the laptop very cumbersome and it is extremely slow.

By far this was the worst laptop I have ever owned. It was beyond slow, kept freezing up so it was necessary to return it and go to another brand.

I was very disappointed in this computer - the DVD player doesn't work right - it only works occasionally. And the keypad is awful- the keys stick all the time. Would not purchase again - in fact,I'm goingto see about returning it.

The laptop space bar doesn't work most of the time; it was like this when shipped new. Have to watch spacing all the time otherwise you end up with run on sentences. Have to pound on space bar to make it work.

My wife and I bought this laptop thinking it was going to suit our needs. It does not. When you turn it on it takes forever and it is just plain slow. If we could have returned it we would have.

The computer was purchased for my special needs son. I set it up with his games and movies and after using it for 3 hours the computer would not boot. Returned it to Best Buy and replaced it with a Dell.

Mouse pad didn't work, virus on computer, volume wouldn't increase, not worth theoney. Also received poor customer service will not shop at Best Buy again nor will I ever recommend anyone shop there.

I bought one of asus, I was need to changed it for 5 times, Google not work at all, I was at the store he opened 4 new asus for me and non of them work with Google. They refund me. And I took Dell.
