cannot disable touch pad...cursor jumps all over. very cheap build quality, worst one I have ever bought @ bought all at best buy in last 25 years.

Overall good basic laptop will do fine with emails and web searches not a super powerful laptop for intense use or multiple tasks. Would recommend if budget is tight and need a basic laptop

I went to get a replacement laptop, I've been using an HP Stream just to get through day to day e-mails and small projects for work but quickly ran out of memory and got tired of carrying around an external hard drive. So I went to Best Buy, told them my price range and although this one was about $300 below my max the sales guy was adamant that it was a great laptop and that I would be really happy with it. Boy was he wrong. Super slow and browser is ALWAYS "not responding". It's incredibly frustrating and annoying especially when I have deadlines. It's going back to the store tomorrow. I'll be going to the Apple Store after that because I needed something reliable yesterday and this was not it.

Not the best, but not the worst laptop i have purchased in my life. Its adequate for my needs.

Okay, I read the reviews and saw 4.2 stars. My wife's ASUS that she purchased in 2011 still runs great. I figure I would try ASUS and bought this computer last weekend. Well, first impression that it looks good, extremely light, short portable power cord that extends about 4 feet, and starts up quickly. After surfing a bit with it and doing regular browsing on facebook, or yahoo. I noticed it started to 'not respond' and crash the browser. That is a bit frustrating so i checked to make sure it was all up to date. Still, I keep getting 'not responding' messages to everything i try to do online. I've downloaded a few other browsers, and they have the same issues. The funny thing is this will be the 3rd laptop purchased from Bestbuy in the past 3 months that has this same issue. I don't understand why. But i'm done with buying any pc's from Bestbuy. I'm just going to the Apple store tomorrow. Good riddance Windows.
