I bought this because my Dell went out on me. I’m really an HP person, but caught the Dell on sale. Anyway, when I say this machine powers up and shuts down in about 20 secs, I mean it. While using it I have had no lag jumping between programs, I usually have 4-5 open at one time. The amount of Star age space is what sold me on this Asus. I think we’ll have a long life together.

I bought this laptop for myself because I dropped my other one. I was excited about the touchscreen feature and it has been great. I use the touch screen more often that I planned on using it because the touchpad on the computer is not as responsive. I was a little disappointed because I love ASUS products but I kept it because I needed a computer and I didn't want to return it. Overall it is faster than the Lenovo I had and I like the display and the battery life is good

I'm very happy with my new Asus. It does everything I need it to do, including keeping pace as I do extensive online research with sometimes 10-15 tabs open at once plus Word and Excel. It really makes my work easy. It's such a relief after the computers I've had in the last three years. My previous computer was a well-known, well-established brand, but the fan had to be replaced twice - once two weeks after I got it! The one before that was too slow to keep up with me. I couldn't bear it and got rid of it after 4 months. But the Asus never gives me a single problem. I would recommend it for anyone who does the kind of work I do, researching and writing articles.

This computer is blazing fast, especially compared to the nine year old laptop I was using. The solid-state drive makes a huge difference, and I like that it’s combined with a separate hard drive. My only complaint (and it’s minor) is that the numeric keypad has smaller keys than the rest of the keyboard, making it a little cumbersome to use.

I upgraded from the older version of the ASUS and I am absolutely satisfied with my decision. I loved the previous laptop that I have but it was beginning to get bogged down due to the amount of RAM that was being used. This laptop is fast, easy to use, and the touch screen is an added bonus. I have not had any issues nor do I have any complaints so far.

The ASUS is a superior laptop - streamlined design with a gunmetal gray surface and beautiful full frame screen. I don't use the Touch-Screen capability because I prefer a sparkling clean screen surface. The solid state 1TB HD with 128GB Drive handles my large assortment of photos with ease. Transporting my photos, music, and software from my Toshiba laptop was straightforward with the aide of the Passport 1TB offline storage drive. Although my Toshiba at nine years old is a bit past its prime it is still a workhorse and I will continue to use it for archiving and older specialized software.

I know there are faster computers out there, but this one moves fast, has a touch screen and is very easy to use. The only drawback, if there is one, is there is no DVD/Blue Ray drive. But, with an external one, it works fine. It is also lightweight and very portable.

I purchased an HP last year.. I hated it from the time I opened the box. I returned to Asus this year and have had nothing but pleasure since. Love the touch screen and backlit keyboard. Asus has speed, and technology has made power into portable. Love the feel and lightness of this computer without sacrificing anything. Love it.

The ASUS 15" touchscreen laptop works better than expected for the cost. Easy to set up and controls and touchscreen are appropriately responsive. I haven't had a lot of time with the laptop yet so I cannot accurately assess how it handles when more tasks are done simultaneously but seems to be better than expected for now.

This computer is, overall, an amazing computer. It has everything you could ask for in a computer: i7 and a lot of space. The graphics card is not the best if you want to do hardcore gaming, but it is good for what it is.

It’s an excellent laptop. It's really fast, works very well with programming IDE’s and also has enough memory for those who like to keep their library of media. The touchscreen is just want I wanted. I got an open box, however, feels like a brand-new laptop indeed.

Got this solely for streaming live events and it works great for that. The 16gig memory keeps everything running smoothly. Don't really have a use for the touchscreen but when I have used it, it was very responsive. The battery charges quickly and lasts a good amount. The speakers a great quality as I used this to watch a movie and watch my favorite Baltimore Orioles every game. Switching from a mackbook I thought the keyboard would be the most difficult thing for me. However, I find it responsive and the keys feel great to type on. My one complaint would be the laptop's track pad. On it's default settings it is very wonky and over responsive, especially the pinch and pull zooming factor. After I disabled everything except for the standard and two finger gestures it's been great. But I really shouldn't have to do that with a $1,200 laptop. Ultimately it isn't a huge loss because 3 and 4 finger gestures are entirely useless. Overall I would recommend this laptop to anyone looking for a powerhouse that doesn't need 3 or 4 finger gestures. But let's be honest, no one needs those.

Lightweight slim laptop. Fast loading & startup. Love that the keyboard has the numbers on the right side. Touch screen is an added bonus. Extremely quiet, don’t even notice the fan running. Definitely user friendly.

I purchased this laptop for work and found it really help and easy to use design is very sleek and slim and battery is long lasting it’s light weight so carrying is not an issue at all and it comes with a lot of different connectivity options. So I I fell very comfortable in Using it.

I LOVE my new ASUS laptop! It's lightning fast, very easy to set up, and has enough storage space for all of my phone pics and videos. It's exactly what I needed. It was recommended by my cousin who's a computer guru. You won't be disappointed by this beauty. It delivers.

I absolutely love this laptop! It’s fast, and is great for work. I have had it for more than 3 weeks now and it is great! I know there are some people complaining about the battery life, but you just have to change the battery settings to, Battery saver. And, don’t worry putting the battery saver won’t make the performance worse, it literally doesn’t affect it, and the battery life changes from like 2 hours to 10! So, was it worth my money? Yes! Would I recommend it for students and gamers? YES!!! I would definitely buy it again!

I’m a general user so this review will be basic. Overall great laptop. Very fast, light, screen is clear and bright. Kids like the touch screen and the fact they can fold it back and it acts like a large tablet. Set up was easy, price was competitive. What’s not to like?

I was impressed with the graphics, speed and abilities of this computer. I have an Asus Laptop provided for me by my employer and I wanted a personal one for home . The Asus touch screen has a lit kep board and other functions that make it a must have.

I purchased this laptop for my college bound son. He loves it. The processor speed is really fast. It has a nice large screen and not too heavy. It was a great purchase. I recommend it if you need a fast processor and lots of hard drive space.
