This laptop is phenomenal, it is very efficient for an office and travel life style, entertainment, and leisure. The way you can transition from laptop to tablet is seamless, you can position it to watch videos something I do all the time. I personally recommend this product.

Nice laptop with a large screen. I especially like the numbers on the keyboard on the side in calculator fashion since I do a lot of spreadsheets. The laptop replaces a desktop model from 2011. Didn't want a new computer because I didn't want windows 10, but it's working out OK.

The second ASUS laptop I've purchased. after buying five (yes, 5!) laptops that died within one week each after we got them home we finally have a working computer for my son to use for school. So far a great computer except we already want to upgrade the SSD as it's run out of space in a month.

I bought the Q526 as a demo item in "satisfactory" condition meaning it is functionally and visually good but may be missing documentation and some optional items, At the store it didn't work (battery discharged) and had no power supply. After some argument that the power supply is not optional they found a power supply and after the battery was charged the computer works well except it occasionally shuts down the screen as though it timed out. That feels like something that can be fixed in settings. Also the ASUS user manual in English has lots of promo stuff and almost no useful information. You just have to learn by using like most Apple user information based on the assumption that everything is obvious. Google and YouTube are the real user manuals.

I wasn't sure about this purchase mainly because I was not too familiar with the brand Asus until my friends told me about it. I decided to give it a try and I am so happy i did. The quality is great. Smooth experience and the screen touch is a plus. Highly recommended.

I got this for my granddaughters Chemical Engineering classes in college and she states it's perfect for all her classes. It came with everything she needed for the classes, the memory, i7 that was required and the 1TB harddrive is great. She's doing fine and it works great for her.

Easy start up and usability. Lightweight but sturdy.

At first I thought it was a bit small but actually it was perfect for the office. The key board is comfortable and quiet bright screen set up was a breeze and tons of memory. It was a great purchase and worth every penny. I would highly recommend this laptop.

I was skeptical. I had never used this brand before. I am enjoying it. The only thing I don't love is because the laptop can fold to be used to watch videos, it's somewhat uncomfortable on my lap in "computer" mode. I have to put something on my lap first.

I wasn't a fan of any ASUS products due to a past bad experience, but I was convinced to give them another try and so far, I am very impressed with this product so far.

I originally bought an open box Asus, which turned out to be defective. Best Buy couldn’t fix it so after many trips and negotiations, management finally made me an reasonable offer for a new upgraded computer. The computer if great, it just cost me more than I originally expected to spend

The keyboard has a nice feel about it. I like how the number pad is reduced sideways, allowing for a smaller laptop in width. The 16GB is appreciated. I'm not sure how the hard drive / SSD mix benefits things as yet. My operating system is on the SSD and my files on the harddrive.

This machine has power to spare and runs all of my photo and video editing applications with no problems. the display is high quality, I was told I could receive a warranty extension from ASUS for my feedback, but I would recommend this product to anyone.

Needed to replace my son’s HP Laptop. After doing research and speaking with a member of the sales team we decided this was a great laptop. Asus is top rated with lot’s of features. Found an open box unit and could not pass it up. Almost half price.

From start to finish purchasing this computer was a huge headache! When I was finally able to find a store with one actually available, the customer service at the checkout line was poor, I was picking up as well as purchasing additional items, I was made to stand in line twice. It was the same (one) person at the checkout and pick up counters with multiple people in line, when another customer spoke to him he just ignored them while speaking into his headset. Dropped my new laptop on the counter with no regard to the item right in front of me (not sure if this could have caused any future damage. I know I should have said something in the moment but this was the only of my laptop in stock in the store, and I had already driven so far to get it.) This was my first issue. About 32 days after purchase my laptop screen would not come on, I could hear the fans running so I knew it was powering on. I was told by an ASUS rep to come into the store as the ASUS manufacturer warranty can be handled in store. I drove to my nearest best buy because I was told any store could help me as long as I purchased with Bestbuy. When arriving someone working in the laptop area told me that Geek Squad can help out, same as the ASUS rep told me. When they looked at my computer, they said this seems like an issue with the screen and told me the cost to fix it. I told them I spoke to ASUS and they said it should be able to be fixable in store with no cost because of the manufacturer warranty, as this was not accidental damage. They told me they did not do that in store and I would have to call ASUS and they would handle it. So this was a back and forth battle with ASUS telling me that Bestbuy can fix this in store, and Geek Squad telling me that they do not. Finally after wasting over an hour on the phone with ASUS they told me they would help me as Bestbuy seemed they were not going to. Fast forward 2 weeks after sending my laptop to ASUS I find out this is an internal issue, not the display at all. They had to replace the motherboard. While I am experiencing issues with my screen going black for a few seconds every couple of days, I'm not trying to send my computer away again and hope that this $1000+ laptop lasts me for my last couple of months of college. This is the second time purchasing a laptop in this price range and the first broke within a year and a half, again not accidental damage but that one was past the time of the manufacturer warranty to do anything about it. I take very good care of my electronics and don't understand why this is a constant struggle for me. Maybe its my bad luck? Good luck with yours!

I love the computer but noticed that nothing was in the box. I was supposed to get a security disk(?) but that was no where to be found. I have to go back to the store to see what happened. That is the only reason why I gave it a 4

I bought this computer for my high-school age daughter. It boots right up, is fast, and has quite a bit of memory. There’s been no noticeable problems with this computer so far (knock on wood) and we’ve had it for two months now. Overall, nice computer!

The Asus surprise me with the double screen with the screen pad it takes a little bit of time getting used to but it's well worth it to be able to watch maybe something you're watching streaming live on YouTube while you're working etc.

Purchased this laptop for my son starting Junior College this year. You know the age, hard to get many words out of his mouth but he told me that he like the laptop very much. He must, he takes it with him a lot! Other than school I know he's watching Netflix, Disney and Hulu!

I got this for my office at home. I always have adobe, word, and at most 5 web pages open and works fast without the lag. The screen is very clear and helps that it has the light up keyboard when working at night. Recommend this laptop for work.
