    Quit cutting on after 35 days

    Worked great while it lasted but on 35th day it ran for 10 mins then cut off and wouldn’t start back and when it did cut in it lasted a few mins. Took it to geek squad and they wouldn’t even really listen to me said it was probably a virus and they would look at it. Been 2 days and they haven’t looked at it. I’ve been tracking the statutes

    Didn't work

    After I set it up I realized the number key did not work. I called Asus support and we downloaded the driver and reset the computer but it still would not work. Very disappointing. Also, very difficult to reach Best Buy returns right now.

    Seemed great, but then quit charging day 1

    We charged it up and used it, but after it died the first time it wouldn't charge again after that. Time to return and replace.

      If the laptop will not charge, no longer boot up or it's just black screen suddenly, please do the following.

      Verify if the AC adapter is connected properly from the laptop to a known good power outlet or AC source. Try another power source.
      Try to press and hold down the power button to shut it down completely, just in case laptop is not in hibernate mode, wait for at least 10 seconds then power on. Please wait, if the system is applying updates in the System Registry, it will black screen temporarily. If it still black screen after a few minutes, at least 10 minutes, please repeat the power cycle process again.

      Also, please try to disconnect the power cable and let the unit drain for 24 hours to clear the memory. This will reset the hardware to default settings. After doing this, please reconnect your AC adapter then power on the unit.

    Great performance until 2 months passed and the laptop would not start. Charger have power but the laptop does nothing, not even blink or tells if it is charging.

    Best Laptop Ever

    This is the best laptop I have ever had!! I bought it almost exactly 3 years ago and it still runs practically like new. I would say the battery life is still functioning at at least 75%, which is usually the first thing to go in my experience. I use it mostly for work but also some casual gaming. I’ve only had to replace the power cord. I would buy this again and again and highly recommend.

    Wouldn’t turn on after five weeks took it back they replaced it, when they called me to come in and pick up the replacement I ordered , I did got all the way home to find out the screen was spiderweb ( broken). I asked for store credit for my hassle in my time to apply on another computer later and they refused it said they don’t do that! So guess my time was it worth nothing to them.

    If I could give 1 billion negative stars, I would. This is the worst computer ever. It was dead within a week of buying it. I don't game or edit video--it was bought for normal use, nothing fancy, but it died in SIX DAYS. NEVER NEVER NEVER buy an ASUS. You will rue the day.

    Buy a protection plan

    Purchased "certified refurbished" + open box, made the mistake of not buying the protection plan. Of course 2 weeks in the computer suddenly stops working and Best Buy would not help me repair it because i didnt have a protection plan. 6 months later and a local repair shop says the motherboard is done and they cannot repair it. Don't waste your money on "certified refurbished".

    Asus Zenbook -- No Bueno!

    I had to return this laptop within the 15-day return period because the touch-screen and trackpad were so problematic. Now, I'm 5 months in and the same problem is occurring, plus mic and sound issues, as well as keyboard lag time. I'm communicating with Asus currently about replacing it, yet again. I loved Asus in the past, but this experience has soured my opinion. I'll update with the resolution.

    Do Not Buy!

    I just bought this computer less then 70 days ago! The computer is going bonkers- opening and closing apps on it own. Turns on touch screen application on its own, multiple windows opening on its own. Do not buy! Calling Best Buy today for a full return. Will update this review after I talk with Best But customer service.

      If you started experiencing performance or stability issues, please install cumulative WINDOWS Update, if the OS is not current.

      In order to maintain optimum system stability and performance, cumulative WINDOWS Update needs to be installed periodically.     Junk, Junk, and More Junk

    Another piece of junk from ASUS. I have purchased two laptops from them in the last year. Both have had serious software and hardware failures requiring factory warranty service. The disruption to my work flow has been horrible. I have spent hours and hours trying to fix and repair them. Never again will I buy an ASUS product. They are total junk.

    Got this without a charger, return it for a charger but was given a wrong charger. I discovered that 3 days after and have to buy another charger myself....worst, is that laptop is not good. Battery drain on its own within 2hrs and best buy refused refunding me cos the process have exceeded the 14 days window for return. Highly disappointed!

    Wireless adapter card does not work 4 months after purchase. That is CONVENIENTLY NOT COVERED by optional qeek squad protection package because it is a "software issue" they only warranty hardware issues. Best Buy offered to diagnose for $99 and then repair for another $199. Felling pretty burned here and hope i can spare someone else this grief.

    Best Buy sent me a used laptop as new!

    The laptop is ok, but i got a box that was well taped and sealed by tape with the words inspected by Best Buy! Power card not in a bag or twist tied. Missing any documentation papers. The ad on Best Buy is deceptive also. In the summary, it states keyboard is RGB back-lit which it isn't! I will be returning.

    Had the computer for 18 months, stayed on my desk and only used it for research. The motherboard went bad and since its over 1 year warranty i was told the company would not cover it. If i was you guys i would stay away from this brand.
