I got one of these over Spring break (around April) and it started out just fine, but after a few months of pretty normal use, the battery life went to nil (a couple hours), and the hdd died. I thought maybe this was just a fluke and got it replaced by Geek Squad (it was under warranty), but now, only about 6 months later, it's dead again. I don't know if it's the hardware, the software, or both, but this machine does not work.

I play games on it mostly and it's amazing. LOVE the graphics card

I needed something to replace my old desk top that I could use for almost everything from work, to play. Still trying to figure out windows 10, but no complaints.. P.S Thanks Geek Squad for your help..

This laptop is just what I expected, but it has the turn off/on button in a really bad position, so I tend to press it a lot by mistake.

laptop is fast and nicely made. Problem is the sd card reader. after you insert sd card it looses the connection with motherboard slot and it is coming in and out.

I bought this laptop for work and for gaming, and it runs excellent. The fans are very quiet, and it charges up incredibly fast. I'm also a fan of the touchscreen. I didn't think I would like it very much, but it's chill.

Asus brand is tops for me. Have a desktop and 2 in 1 and both are cool. Only wish is that the 2 in 1 was lighter. Asus fan and best buy fan.

I've had this for a few months now and I can honestly say that it's the best computer I've ever had! Some might say it's a little too heavy but the performance is worth the trade off for me.

We bought for our grandson for college. He loves it. He has not put it down since he got it.

Outside is easy to get fingerprints, power button on the side is inconvenient

Is anyone else with this model Q553UB having Bluetooth connectivity issue, or am I the only one? Mine cannot find any Bluetooth device nearby.

The ASUS 2-1 with the i7 processor is great computer but has an annoying problem -- the clock won't keep time. I read about it in other reviews and figured an easy fix like a computer clock would have been taken care of by now -- it isn't. For 1,000 dollars a computer should be able to keep time like they have for decades.

I bought this first Asus Q553 last Thursday (4/14/16) and the graphics card was bad and it took forever to respond and froze constantly...SOOO I took it back to Best Buy and exchanged for another Q553 assuming I got a lemon. No such luck. I have had this new one since THIS Thursday (4/21/2016) so all of ONE DAY and I'm getting "graphics card crashed" messages and super slow responses! I am more than angry! I spent $1100.00 on a piece of junk! The closest Best Buy is over an hour away so I've got to waste more gas and time taking this junk back. Needless to say, I will NOT be buying another Asus! What a joke! Save your sanity and go with another brand!
