Its not an internet speed issue, I've checked that. Something is causing the hard drive usage to be maxed out at 100% usage. Not just once in a while but continually. I contacted their support and they gave direction to be sure it was not going into sleep mode. It isnt. There is somthing running in the background. They current update has been going for 3 hours and is at 3% complete. Dont know which update that is since I haven't seen the desktop in 4 hours.

Now almost two years later it’s pretty much unusable sadly. You could definitely get a better laptop for cheaper

Nicely designed laptop, however in this case, looks were absolutely deceiving. Had the thing for two days, and Couldn’t figure out why it wouldn’t open up after the initial start, took it to Geek Squad (I had just signed up for their one year program, and I strongly encourage anyone to do the same! They are amazing at what they do!!), and they told me that the mother board was totally Fried, and that sometimes this can happen even if it’s directly shipped from the manufacturer. I would give it a ZERO, but alas, the stars won’t let me, LOL!! Got my refund for it, and bought a Dell instead.

I do understand your disappointment with the product and the inconvenience this may have caused you if the laptop crashed in the middle of setup. The unit may restart, reboot or black screen temporarily during setup. Please make sure AC adapter is connected before doing the initial WINDOWS setup. Please try to do a power cycle a couple of times and run setup again. Once initial setup and WINDOWS Update installation completed, system speed or performance will be optimized. In order to maintain optimum system stability and performance, cumulative WINDOWS Update needs to be installed periodically. If you are accessing web applications, please make sure the unit has access to an established router and internet service is working properly since this will definitely affect system speed and performance. Trying to set the computer up was a pain and when I tried to hook up the printer, it did not have the driver. I felt that since it was a new computer it should have had everything up to date.

I've had regular disk hard drives in the past and have never had such a problem with speed and performance since day 1. Boot up time takes an excessive amount of time. You may get to your desktop but the laptop is still unusable for another 10 min even after removing all excess startup routines. Disk usage is always at 100% while disk space is not 20% used.

I never found such useless PC, alot of issues, first: rebooting will take time and it stuck, it doesnt matter you have newly installed windows or older. Second : System speed as compare to i-7 is like a joke, system performance overall I wish i rate 0 stars out of 5. Dont Buy this machine, its better to go for other system with this price.

On the contrary, it is a value-added product considering the cool features that are included . This issue is temporary during the initial WINDOWS setup and before installing cumulative WINDOWS Update, regardless what brand name of computer this may be. This may take a longer time depending on the network traffic from the update server and the stability of your high-speed internet service. Once initial setup and WINDOWS Update installation completed, system speed or performance will be optimized. Cumulative WINDOWS Update needs to be installed periodically in order to maintain optimum system stability and performance. If you are accessing web applications, please make sure the unit has access to an established router and internet service is working properly since this will definitely affect system speed and performance. I first didn’t have any issues throughout the first year then it just started to go directly into the EZ mode constantly while using it. The geek squad honestly had been useless while I had this laptop, they were never able to help. So please KEEP THAT IN MIND before purchasing it.
