Loved the amount of memory/hard drive space it had, as well as the tablet feature. It was Avery quick, and painless setup right out of the box. We did get a lemon to start (first warning sign should have been the two day setup), but after giving it a couple weeks to “come around,” we took it back and got it switched out very easily.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was originally drawn to this laptop because it has an I7 processor, a touchscreen. a 10 key, and an extra m.2 slot to upgrade to a SSD. I loved everything about it... until I turned it on. 15 minutes after boot up, disk space was at 99% with no programs running. Microsoft Word averaged over 2 minutes to open with nothing else running. I took it to Best Buy and although the Geek Squad was great, they discovered that the issues are hardware related. Based on other Best Buy reviews, I don’t believe this to be an isolated incident. The shame of it is, I read them and still bought this laptop. Don’t make the same mistake as me.

While this did not qualify for the student deals discount the price for this open box could not be beat - even by Amazon. I love Best Buy's customer service and have been a loyal mobile customer for at least 10 years. I'm happy to now also be a computer customer as well.

The man at Best Buy who helped me, listened to my needs and steered me in the right direction. He helped me narrow my choices down and make an informed decision. I am very happy with the function of my asus.
