I used this as a second monitor to my imac for my editing station and it is a great addition. I spent a few weeks looking for the right monitor with features that had creativity in mind and this one checked all the boxes. Plenty of inputs to choose from, a great menu to fine tune to your preference and it even looks good on the desk. The only issue i have with it is sometimes when my computer goes to sleep, the monitor will sleep along with it, but when i wake the computer up, the monitor doesnt follow. other than that im very very glad with the purchase!

Solid build quality, larger workspace, and ability to rotate the monitor vertically makes this ProArt a must buy for any graphic artist of all levels. First off, this monitor aspect ratio is 16:10 which gives you more space from top to bottom when viewed horizontally. This is very useful because there is more room for workspace especially if you are using graphics software. Second, the neat feature the monitor is the ability to rotate it vertically. This is very useful if you are doing photo touch-ups, graphic design, or illustration work that requires a portrait orientation. The monitor sRGB colors are excellent and are able to be reproduced very close when output to print. Overall, this is an excellent Monitor if you are looking for a quality-built monitor for design work. There are also a lot of neat features on the monitor that enables you to switch to theater/gaming mode and there is a ruler that is subtly engraved into the monitor's bottom ledge.

I have not played with the monitor setting much as of now but so far not much need to do and the image rendition, colors and sharpness are excellent.

Great Monitor, with numerous inputs, unlike most new displays. Colors are very good, and the unit has a very in-depth menu. Plus this monitor properly handles 4:3 aspect ratio.

I didn't calibrate it before I ordered photos, but it was the same in print as what I saw on the screen. I picked this mainly to use for editing pictures in Lightroom. A huge jump from a 15" laptop screen! The side USB ports are slow charging for an iPhone, but I have access to it in an instant. Now, if I can figure out how to rotate the screen, the ability to turn the monitor vertical will be nice.

I can't say that I have been anything but pleased with this monitor. It has lived up to all of the positive reviews that I have read about this current production run. While older reviews were less favorable, ASUS apparently made some adjustments in production. In addition to the graphics quality, I have found no issues with movies. Not being a gamer I can't speak about game performance.

My son is very impressed with this new Asus 24" monitor. Colors are vibrant and clarity of picture is outstanding. I bought this monitor (and other PC accessories) as a gift over the holidays at a very good price from Best Buy. This is a great complement to the Asus laptop that we also purchased. I plan to buy one of these when my older monitor is ready for replacement.

My 8 year old Gateway 1900x1200 monitor died and I did my research. The ASUS ProArt PA248Q is amazing. So good in fact that I purchased a second one when my new Samsung went black on me. I used my Best Buy credit toward another ASUS ProARt. Now I have happy twin monitors. Great for my Photoshop and Video editing. I highly recommend this monitor at this great price.

The color is great out of the box. Working out very well for photography and what video I do. Very bright monitor. I've turned the brightness way down. It is a seamless connection. Just put it on whatever cable you're using and it's good. The only problem I have is it occasionally blinks off/on a couple times a day. I notified Asus and they sent me a guide of steps to troubleshoot. Just got back home after a week and haven't had a blink all day today. Will do the troubleshooting if/when it blinks again. Asus is very responsive!

Being a pro photographer, having accurate color reproduction is very important to me and the color on this monitor was spot on right out of the box.

This unit suits my needs perfectly. The display is beautiful and it is easy to use, once you understand its operation. Unfortunately, the user manual is completely inadequate. It did not instruct me to press the input button repeatedly. But that is the only way you can get options. I had to call technical support to find this out. The top button on the unit is actually a four-way toggle. I had to make another call to tech support in order to learn this. Surely it's worth a couple more lines of text in the user manual to help the owner-user understand with crystal-clarity how to operate the machine!

Would recommend to all my friends. Easy to set up.

I got this monitor to pair with my mac mini and it's just perfect. Pre-calibrated from the factory its already pretty accurate, but it did benefit from the use of the X-rite display calibrator. Smooth movement also makes it great for multiple viewing positions.

This monitor was easy to set up and works great with my laptop.

I selected this monitor mostly for photography purposes. Otherwise I would have chosen a different, less expensive monitor that didn't have to be an IPS monitor. I have not found it to be overly bright like some reviews, and have noticed no pixel problems on the edges. It was easy to set up and use immediately, and seems to be a good size: not too large, not too small. I may have rated even higher if I had not felt my other computer components were possibly pulling this monitor down some.

I was looking for a 2nd monitor to complete a dual monitor setup for my Digital Multimedia Suite. After quite a bit of searching I decided on the 24.1" IPS LED HD Monitor by Asus. I also have a Dell Ultrasharp 24" display. This ProArt series display is awesome for Digital design, Motion Graphics, 2D/3D Animation, and Compositing work. I'm really happy with it in regard to it's professional-grade color fidelity and reproduction. There are probably displays out there with even better stats but cost a great deal more but you definitely get serious bang for the buck with this monitor value wise!

Our small architecture firm uses these monitors for AutoCad, Revit and other graphics applications. The 1900 x 1200 is a nice screen size for our work.

I do a lot of photo editing and this monitor is an upgrade from a 15" laptop. It's Bright and sharp. I'm very happy with my new setup.

I work on cleaning and editing photos as well as video editing so this Asus Proart is perfect for this kind of work. I had already purchased one 2 years ago and had to get another so I can work on either screen. So I heartily recommend this excellent monitor

Outstanding resolution, but I do not believe my video card does it justice. I believe a better video card than my radeon hd 5670 would even be more spectacular.
