Perfect power horse !!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really impressed by the ultra small form factor and amount of power this packs within. If you are looking for a portable powerhouse which gets the job done with 2 in 1 form factor, this serves the job perfectly. Battery life has been excellent so far with absolutely no fan noise whatsoever. I wish this unit had one more USB A port, but i understand the space limitation and not a huge deal.

Great thin and light for gaming
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is basically an ROG Ally in a laptop form factor, the battery life is pretty good and the performance is very nice for a thin and light. A little old at this point though.

excellent quality and reasonable price
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a super convenient computer I bought. I can work outside without a charger for nearly 7 hours. When I go home, I plug in the power supply to connect the monitor and plug in the graphics card to use it as a game book.

Love this computer! Keep it up Asus!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great computer. The APU is good enough to handle triple A gaming with medium settings. It is very versatile and I love how compact and thin it is for the hardware it has.

Linux works (speakers too), but requires tweaking
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Another reviewer wrote that this laptop's speakers don't work on Linux. That's not uncommon with ASUS laptops, as ASUS adamantly and foolishly refuse to include vital device information in the BIOS ACPI table. This means the Cirrus Logic I2C speaker amps only work on Windows since the amp configuration is hard-coded into the Windows driver. Fortunately, with Linux 6.7 the Cirrus developers have addressed the missing ACPI info, so the sound problem should finally be solved on most ASUS laptops. It's about time! There are still issues with the amdgpu graphics driver. Since the AMD 7940HS APU is rather new, there are still bugs being actively worked on by AMD. There are workarounds for many problems, but this is definitely not an out-of-the-box working Linux laptop (but may be by the time you read this). Some problems you will likely have on a basic Linux install: • Stuttering graphics due to a problem with PSR and the specific VRR LCD panel used in this laptop (PSR must be disabled) • Suspend is broken unless PCIe power management is disabled • Poor network performance on the included MediaTek WiFi adapter, and if swapping for an Intel one, power management must be disabled for max performance Those are just some examples. However, with all the tweaks performed this can be an absolutely outstanding Linux laptop without having to wait for Framework's 7940HS model (and less expensive, too). The performance from the 780M iGPU is excellent—you can easily exceed 60fps playing Apex at 1200p. The 120Hz variable refresh panel is smooth and jitter-free once Panel Self Refresh is disabled, and perfect if you need low input lag. I recommend KDE Plasma (Wayland) as it supports VRR, whereas Gnome does not. If you're comfortable with tweaking your Linux install, this is a great performing laptop at a good price. You probably won't see anything close to this price from Framework or any of the other laptop brands that officially support Linux.

nice
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been using the ASUS ROG Flow X13 for a few weeks, and it’s been a solid experience overall. The AMD Ryzen 9 processor and 16GB RAM really shine, making this laptop fast and responsive for gaming and multitasking. The 13.4" touchscreen display is stunning, with vibrant colors and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, which makes gaming and media look amazing. The 360° hinge is a cool feature. I love being able to flip it into tablet mode for casual browsing or watching videos, giving it extra flexibility. It’s also fairly lightweight, so I can take it around without much hassle. On the downside, the battery life isn’t great. I usually get around 3–4 hours with heavy use, so you’ll need to charge it often if you’re gaming or doing resource-intensive work. Also, under heavy load, it can get warm, and the fans can be a bit noisy, which might be a concern if you're in a quiet space. Overall, the ASUS ROG Flow X13 is a powerhouse in a portable package. It’s perfect for gaming, productivity, and entertainment, but you’ll need to keep an eye on the battery and temperature if you plan on using it heavily for long periods.

Nice portable laptop
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a very good laptop. The build quality stands out and is an improvement over the previous year’s model. The larger trackpad is better than the 2022 model. Although the model does not have a discrete graphics card, it is still able to run lots of games at middle settings. Battery piece is pretty good for a Windows laptop. I’ve been able to get 8-10 hours or use on a full charge. The display is top notch. I Appreciate the 1200p resolution as it is just right for the use case on this laptop.

Best Travel PC!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Though it lacks a dGPU, the iGPU is plenty powerful for all games that may be a few years old. It also has amazing battery life due to this with me getting over 10 hours! This is even better because I can create custom profiles for the system. In my case, I created a Travel profile which drops the TDP to 15w and that extends the battery life a ton and still offers ample performance. Great, light weight, and customizable laptop! Great for travel and light/medium gaming!

A cool and fun petite laptop
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm not a gamer so I can't review this laptop for gaming purposes. However, for personal uses such as browsing web, EXCEL etc., this laptop is AWESOME!!!!. I said that because: (1) this laptop is super fast due to the CPU - AMD Ryzen 9, (2) the 16GB memory and 512GB SSD are more than sufficient to run all the apps I need, (3) this has a touch screen, which is RARE for a gaming laptop, (4) this is 2 in 1, which I don't really need but should come in handy at times, and (5) this is very light weight, so easy for me to carry around my house. All in all, at the price I got this ($799 during the black Friday sale), I don't think there was anything I could have gotten that would beat the specs of this laptop. Good luck finding something that works for you.

Great value with discount. Not for macro
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not the best gaming laptop. The fans are too loud if you want to play video game. Beyond that good light laptop with nice 2 in 1 function. Really light and slim. Great for mobile.

a very nice laptop
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I picked up both this and G14 4060, this is obviously a better quality product. the only downside was the screen resolution but being lightweight and 2-in-1 was a huge deal for me and I could use it on plane. plus I can use it as tablet and I have to carry my 12.9 ipad pro anymore. GPU is powerful enough for some lighter gaming and It runs way cooler than g14 4060 due to not switching gpus and overall faster and more stable in day to day tasks than my g14.

So light and long battery life
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s been great. It is very lightweight and has awesome battery life mainly play games on it and the battery last so much longer than the Lenovo LOQ that we originally bought. It last twice as long and weighs half and much as the Lenovo. Also love that it is touchscreen and is quite doesn’t sound like a jet taking off. It has been a great computer for the price. I highly recommend it.

Awesome HW, ruined by amdgpu driver
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Versatile hardware that can handle almost any use cases (from developers, note-taking students, media consumption, creative work) with very reasonable battery life and full ports support. I installed linux and am using mostly for writing code. Only major issue I have is various bugs in `amdgpu` driver that randomly (and occasionally) glitch or freeze the screen, and requires hard-reset.

The Gaming unicorn I was looking for.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted an ROG Ally that had a real computer around it. This is basically that. I travel for work, and can't game on my work machine. So I wanted a tabet replacement that can also run real windows application (like solidworks and Catia) and also do some light gaming. This APU plus RSR or FSR makes for a great 60 hertz gaming experience. And the Ryzen 9 eats normal productivity and school tasks for Lunch. The build quality is also excellent (keyboard, trackpad, rigidity, etc are all typical ROG. IE excellent.)

Fixes everything wrong with the 2022.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had the previous 2022 model of the X13, and returned it. Here are my reasons; - Small trackpad - Big bezel - No Windows Hello IR + awful fingerprint reader - So-so battery life with Nvidia card. Every one of these issues has been fixed. It is a very unique device being a small, touch, 120hz laptop with AMD, and without a dGPU. I don't think there is anything else that fits those criteria. This is not a gaming laptop as the marketing suggests. It is an ultrabook. Compare this to the Dell XPS, MacBook Pro, and HP Spectres of the world. There you will find for the sale price of $900 and even the MSRP of $1250, it smashes the competition. To be fair, it can play games, as the integrated GPU is very competent. It just won't be to the same level as other machines around this price with dGPUs. Great things about this machine: - Excellent build quality. - Fantastic keyboard and trackpad. - Bright, 120Hz, 16:10 touch display. - Tiny, lightweight. - Simply fantastic battery life when configured properly. (Silent mode, no dGPU.) - Reliable IR facial recognition. - Fast as all heck with the R9 7940HS. - Impressive port selection for a 13" notebook. Not-So Great things about this machine: - Display is "only" 1200p, and not OLED. (This is better for battery life, but not for visuals.) - Soldered RAM. - 32GB RAM option is very, very expensive. - Some "Gamer" styling on what would be a very professional looking notebook. Overall this is a fantastic machine. It combines 120Hz, touch, and AMD into a small and potent package. If you don't need to game seriously and want a fantastic laptop experience doing anything else, consider this.

Excellent power in a small package!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was surprised by this laptop--I have a full gaming rig already at home, but wanted something a bit more mobile to game and be productive on the go. I already own a Steam Deck as well, but found setting it up to work to be cumbersome and playing the Deck in bed to be unwieldy. Enter the ROG Flow. I can run most games at a decent quality without much issue, and when the fans kick on during intense games, it can be a bit noisy, but it's also nice to know this laptop can handle incoming heat fairly well. I also found myself using the touch screen/tablet mode much more often than expected--during slow times at work, I've often found myself folding it into tablet mode and playing solitaire, or propping the screen up to watch shows or play games comfortably. Cannot recommend this laptop enough.
