    Amazing but Giant Router

First off, this router is HUGE. I needed a new router since I have 3 gaming PC’s, 5 Xboxes, 3 Switches, and many other devices across 6 people in my house. I haven’t had any connection issues since. I have 3 channels set up, 2.4Ghz for smart devices, the first 5Ghz for streaming devices and the second 5Ghz for gaming. The software for set up was pretty straightforward, however I am a bit familiar with ROG since all the PC’s in my house use ASUS ROG motherboards with ROG bios.

Faster speeds, lots of options. Has an install app that has tons of features and controls. I haven’t quite figured out what is all connected to my router yet but it is password protected, just need to figure out each device name and rename it for the app.

Super easy to setup just scan QR code on the router with the app. To make changes, you use the app instead of logging into the router each time. The setup wizard is pretty straight forward that its a no brainer. You want qos, just click a button and done. You can even prioritize gaming, streaming or just surfing the web. Plenty of features and you can also extend you network coverage in you home with additional Rog devices to create a mesh or in my case i used my older router at a AP for the other side of the house. You can view devices on the network, kick them off or if its your kids you can limit bandwith etc. like i said this router is packed with features even VPN. My only Con is that its a bit pricey for this day and age considering the variety of routers from different manufactuers but if your a ROG guy like me then its worth it lol..

For serious gamers and tech enthusiasts, the GT‑AX11000 offers a potent mix of speed, control, and features unmatched in its class. Though bulkier and pricier than most, its performance and comprehensive feature set—especially gaming-focused tools and robust connectivity—make it a top-tier choice if you’re not in a rush to move to Wi‑Fi 6E. For true future-proofing, consider Wi‑Fi 6E models, but for now, this remains one of the best Wi‑Fi 6 routers you can buy.

My previous router was crapping out and I needed something that could handle WFH, streaming, gaming, and photo editing with multiple people. This was it. Yes it’s a bit big but I don’t mind that! As long as it works for us!

This is a great piece of equipment and does it job really well. The admin interface takes a minute to get used to, and learn the layout, but outside of that, it is really easy to use. The only draw back about this unit, is its size. For a router this thing is a beast, so plan on having to move stuff around.

This router is amazing, I've worked at Cisco for many of years so I know about networking. The wifi range is amazing and covers my entire 4500 sqft of house plus a few of my wifi cameras in the yard. My ISP provided me with 2GB and the router WAN provides my entire network to all my endpoints with seamless speed. I'm not a gamer just a product nerd been in the tech field for over 25 years.

I have google fiber and thier routers are absolutely horrible i would get around 120mgbs a sec on a 1 gig plan, bad ping, bad patches in the internet on every game i tried to play on my pc. but once i got this it eliminated everything and ran around 560mgbs no more lag, no patches i also live in a house with 3 pcs and two consoles and all of then are great.

After a couple of firmware updates, this router has been rock solid. Had to do a little research to get it set up because it has a lot of options. Ended up going with separate 2.4 and 5 ghz SSIDs because a couple of old devices didn’t like a single channel with “auto” directing by the router (Smart Connect), and a guest network for some old WiFi thermostats. Overall, it’s very fast, good coverage, and no device drops. Very pleased. Only question is whether I should have gone with the 16000, but this one is great until more devices actually use the 6 ghz range.

I had a netgear XR1000 that was bottlenecking me and not allowing me to get to my 1200mbps im paying for. Upgraded to this badboy and it blows it out of the water. Getting 1200 plus download speeds now and much better coverage

This router has been awesome, had to upgrade my other router due to it basically dropping internet out of no where and had to keep restarting it. Internet speeds almost boosted with this router and haven’t had any issues yet with my internet. It’s really big though so be sure to have somewhere with plenty of space for it, I was shocked after I unboxed it.

This router is a tri-band beast. I am getting better speed from my router than I had with my prior Netgear router. This router has so many features and capabilities that you are hard pressed to find anything to be disappointed about. Highly recommend. This is my first Asus router and I've tried several other brands and I have been disappointed with them. I paid a similar amount of money for those routers and had several issues. No issues here.

An Absolute BEAST of a router (Performance and Size). I already owned a GT-AX-11000 (non-pro) model and have been satisfied with it. This one is even more feature-laden and cost the same as the non-Pro version did when I bought it. Happy with purchase so far.

I purchased the Asus ROG Rapture GT-AX11000 Pro Tri-Band WiFi 6 Gaming Router to upgrade my Netgear Nighthawk X10 (R9000) Router. It took several tries to get the router functioning since there was an issue with the default asus website to configure it. After it was up and running, it has been a great router. It was on clearance for $359.99 (regular price was $399.99) plus I had a 15% off towards networking equipment after recycling one so I thought it was a good deal. One other thing that I didn't believe until I opened the box - this router is MASSIVE!!! Overall, if you're looking for a good gaming router then I highly recommend you give this a try.

I upgraded from an Orbi mesh wifi system. This has as good or better coverage for our home and into our backyard for a porch television. I placed our PC and XBOX on the second 5.0 GHz band, and everything else in the home on the 2.4 GHz band. It has worked flawlessly for us.

Pretty nice router. Currently using this to replace my netgear rax200 router between the two the speeds are about the same but in terms of range netgear has this beat. I would say this router is fast and reliable which is why I plan to keep it. For the price, speed, and reliability I say this is a good router. However if you stay in a place that is more than 1500 Sq ft I'd recommend looking for a router with more range especially for the 5ghz.
