This OLED completely transformed my setup. The colors, contrast, and response times are honestly on another level. I uploaded a picture of my setup with the OLED beside another display, and the difference is immediately noticeable. The center OLED has true blacks and incredible contrast, while the monitor on the right looks washed out and gray in comparison even though they’re displaying the exact same image. That side-by-side comparison alone made me realize how massive the jump to OLED really is. Dark scenes actually look dark instead of glowing gray, and highlights pop so much more naturally. Gaming feels insanely smooth at 120Hz with near-instant response times, and movies/content look cinematic especially in darker rooms. It also completely upgraded the overall aesthetic of my desk setup. Thin bezels, amazing panel quality, and the image clarity make everything feel premium. Easily one of the best upgrades I’ve made for both gaming and entertainment. Would absolutely recommend to anyone considering OLED.

The colors are so vibrant and crisp it is absolutely awesome! I initially bought the 2k oled with 400 fps but didn't notice much of a difference so I got the 4k with a glossy screen . I wasn't sure how it would be with a glossy screen but I don't even notice it has a glare. Absolutely worth going for the true blacks and colors of a 4k monitor with less FPS rather than /k oled with more fps. Very happy with my monitor and would absolutely recommend it !

This is one of the best gaming monitors I have used. The combination of 4K resolution, a 27-inch screen, OLED contrast, and a 240Hz refresh rate provides an exceptionally sharp and responsive experience. Fine details in character models, environments, hair, weapons, and distant objects are noticeably clearer than my old 1440p display The factory color accuracy on my unit was excellent. Using the factory 6500K preset on wide gamut setting, I measured approximately x 0.3119 and y 0.3293, which was only about a ΔE00 of 0.8 from the D65 target. This was measured at roughly 397 cd/m², so the monitor was already remarkably close to an accurate white point before calibration. After calibration, colors appear natural and consistent without losing the vibrant presentation that QD-OLED is known for. The wide color gamut gives games and HDR content a striking appearance, especially during colorful effects, explosions, and bright highlights. For accurate SDR content, the calibrated D65/sRGB presentation still looks rich while avoiding oversaturation. Black levels, contrast, shadow detail, and overall image depth are excellent, particularly in a darker room. This monitor is an excellent choice for price compared to the PG series for those who want premium 4K gaming performance with surprisingly good factory calibrated colors.

This was such an amazing purchase for the truck. I travel around the country as a trucker and wanted a monitor to use with my xbox ally x, surface pro, s26 ultra, and now switch 2 as well. This monitor is perfect for all of it and the only thing lacking is any speakers.... which i knew before buying and am ok with it.

This is a no brainer and when on sale the price can’t be beat for what you get. Yes, I’m only using this with the PlayStation but the amount of joy I have playing with this beast is next level. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself!

Glossy Penta Tandem Oled. Menus are good enough. Stand is fine. It's a great monitor. This is a cut down model, and I believe the screen is not as hard at the flagship models. I clean all my screens with distilled water only and a brand new microfiber cloth (the one for sunglasses, not washing cars). I do not clean in a swirling motion. I believe circular microscratches are more noticeable. I'm writing this review because I don't believe the capabilities of this monitor are clear. This monitor has a scaler built in. That's a big deal for retro gaming. Asus makes it clear this monitor has a 24.5 monitor mode, but it doesn't make it clear that it also has a 4:3 mode. In the menu, under image, there's aspect control, which has 16:9 and square options. I don't know why Asus calls it Square, it's 4:3 mode. And I measured 4:3 mode with a tape, and it's right at 21.5" across, which is the same as a large CRT. 1440x1080 is perfect integer scaling for square 4:3 mode. Some older games allow non-standard resolutions through config editing, and some do not. Unfortunately, the EDID on this monitor doesn't allow 1600x1200 to run at 120hz or 240hz, but the monitor scales 1600x1200 really well. I'm looking at it right now, and it looks good, even in desktop. If this monitor did not have a scaler built in, it would be blurry. Other than 1600x1200, the monitor has a lot of options for custom resolutions and refresh rates. Windows XP, 750Ti, DP, 355.98; This monitor can also run 1024x768 at 240hz, which is cool. You'll have to play around with the custom resolution settings to get some of these resolutions work. I had to set 1024x768 at 239hz in windows for instance. Some resolutions and refresh rates will have to be set to CVT reduced blank to get it under the bandwidth limit. The monitor also tells you what resolution and refresh rate it is actually running at in the menu, so it is very easy to verify if when windows xp is acting up. ELMB works in Windows XP, but it only works at 1920x1080 at 120hz with aspect set to full screen. ELMB does not seem to work on non-integer scaled resolutions, so no ELMB at 1024x768. And 1920x1080 is pretty much the max that XP can run, so you're not losing anything by turning on ELMB. It's definitely easier to follow targets with ELMB on at 120hz vs ELMB off at 120hz. For office work, this monitor is extremely sharp. I'm running an HDMI cable from my Windows 11 computer. And it's been a game changer for my work as well. This monitor exceeded my expectations. Most monitors don't have built in scalers, but this one does. CRT monitor prices are so bad anymore, that you should really consider getting an 4k 27" oled with a built in scaler like this one, instead of a CRT for retro gaming.

I spent a long time researching different QD-OLED monitors, differences to Tandem OLED, and brands. I almost settled on an Alienware 27" 4K QD-OLED that was $600, but I went for this specific Strix model instead. This monitor is amazing. The specific features that bring it over the Alienware: -Asus OLED care management: ability to use the Neo sensor (incredible!), pixel refresh reminders, and about a dozen other customizable settings all dedicated to OLED care. Alienware does not offer any of these (I tried a demo unit at a local BestBuy) -History of stable reviews. The "sister" models to this one (the Strix model that includes the 90W USB-C port and the Swift model) have excellent reviews. It gave me a lot more confidence in purchasing this monitor. While the Alienware does claim to have a good warranty, you can see an ocean of 1-star reviews because panels go bad 1 month, 2 months, or 1 year+ into ownership I have an RTX-5080. This is my first 4K OLED monitor. In my opinion, this is an essential purchase for anyone with an RTX-5080.

I have had my previous monitor for almost 5 years, and I finally decided to upgrade after getting a new graphics card. It looks fabulous. Blacks are perfect, and I have never been this content with a purchase. I haven't stopped using it since I set it up and the 4k quality looks just like real life!!

Pitting this monitor up against similar models like the Samsung Odyssey line-up and the LG UltraGear Line-up, for price to performance and quality, I was pleasantly surprised at how strong this monitor ran. Heavily recommended.
