More than i expected. Slim great battery life, has more than enough speed to play any games like a pro. Makes surfing the web and daily chores a breeze. Small enough to carry around without weighing you down yet, big enough you dont feel like your using a laptop. Would definitely buy again.

This laptop has a lot of power for the size. Decent build quality too, and excellent portability. I ended up returning it because of the lack of webcam and also the trackpad was a little loose. Screen also isn’t the greatest (some ghosting).

The build quality and performance are solid. You can play most AAA games with high settings (gets quite hot though, but makes sense), amazing for such a small footprint. Besides, the battery life is on par with some ultrabooks in the market, making it decent for productivity work/school as well. Really not much to complain about.

High end in a nice little package!

Bought this laptop as a replacement for my 10+ year old desktop that I built using top end components back in the day! I know technology has grown in leaps and bounds since then, but I used the high end components to somewhat future proof my desktop as much as possible. It got me 10 years. On to this beast! It is a screamer. I most likely will never use it to its fullest potential, but decided to go "gaming" laptop to somewhat future proof me for another 10 years. Ok, well at least a couple of years. The unit is light and compact but yet versatile enough that it does the normal every day type stuff without batting an eyelash. And my son, 17 years old, has put it through its paces with a bit of gaming. He says it seems to handle it pretty well. Anyhow, unit is a little more expensive than a unit that would have met my needs, but for the few hundred or so extra $$, it is money well spent. And this thing is light as a feather, but feels solidly built so I don't worry about being too hard on the keys. And the touch pad is very responsive. Well worth it!

Cons: - No webcam - Fans are pretty loud - Can get hot (it's designed to take extreme heat - use an extra cooling pad.) Pros: - Ryzen 9 with a RTX 3060 is a monster! - Small laptop form factor makes travel a breeze. - Value! This laptop packs a punch of power without breaking the bank. Would buy again!

Cons: Keyboard is flimsy and isn’t a long term solution for gaming, it also feels very cheap and too small for me personally. It also sounds like a jet engine when playing specific intense games like rtx minecraft. And rtx cyberpunk Pros: this laptop performs very well and if all you care about is performance I honestly would strongly recommend. The SSD is amazing and hasn’t failed me and the ram on the laptop makes it feel almost instantaneous! I also personally love the design although not rgb it feels very sleek, and the unboxing experience made it the highlight of the purchase. In my honest opinion I think it’s worth regardless of the few flaws it has

Buy a cooling fan with this bad boy

So far so good! 1 week of owning this beast & it’s changed my gaming life. I’ve never bought this brand before and I thought I was going to hate the color (silver & white) and feel but it’s actually an attractive laptop & comfortable enough without a wrist pad. The screen size could have been bigger but I’m still loving it so far! I would very much recommend getting a laptop cooling fan with this as it does get pretty hot.

Bought it for my daughter and she loves it. Everything runs smooth on the laptop. She likes how it’s not heavy. Easy to carry around at the size. Not sure about heat from the laptop as she uses it mainly connected to a monitor and it’s sitting on a cooling fan.

I've had good experience with Asus devices. I've had a GL502 and G20CB that are still working perfectly even until now... and so I feel pretty conflicted in the quality in this laptop. These are some of my issues with this device... The power is there. With a powerful Ryzen 9 and a RTX3060 mobile meaning that the specs will last you quite a while compared to devices with a 1650/ti or a RTX 3050/ti. Problem is to get this powerful hardware in this small form-factor, the device will idle hot, around 50-52C (90-100C during gaming or heavy load) hot. To cool things down, fans ramp up real quick and during gaming sessions those fans will get very loud. Granted you do have extensive fan control, but it isn't really the easiest software to use. While the device is designed to work in these temps, it will still make you worry even if you know that it will operate safely in these temps. Other owners of the laptop would even recommend to turn off Boost for the CPU because of the temps. The speakers are nice sounding. BUT the drivers for it are buggy. It will occasionally just bug out where the bottom 2 speakers will stop working and you have either uninstall drivers and reinstall it or use the power button trick that causes the laptop to auto fix the drivers. The keyboard color make the typing with the backlight on hard because of the way the light reflects on the finish of the keys reflect the light so it is harder to see the keys. Now for the last issue I have, which also doubles as a PSA to those who are considering ASUS devices... ASUS will only provide 3 months of manufacturer's warranty if you buy open-box from BestBuy. While BestBuy says it will provide 1 year and ASUS said only 3 months, it is hard to say who is telling the truth until an issue arrives when I need service and I'm out of the 3 months ASUS gives me. So for those who trying to penny-pinch to get an otherwise great device (despite the reoccurring, but fixable issues and higher than average heat) when it goes on sale + open-box, this is worth looking as a something to consider if it is worth the hassle.

Monster performance, great price, in slim design

Absolutely fantastic laptop, in a slim, sleek form factor. This thing has a monster Ryzen 9 5900hs processor, rtx3060, it’s literally faster than my ryzen 3600, rtx 2070 super gaming desktop. The screen is a 1080p 144hz display, which for a 14in is perfect. I feel like the 1440p model is overkill for this size display. The laptop is Tunable through Armoury crate to customize where the power of your laptop is going. If your playing a game you can lower the cpu wattage and boost the gpu for maximum gaming performance, or the opposite if you need a cpu boost for productivity needs. This really is a very powerful laptop for the price, and given the price of gpus lately a high end gaming laptop is the way to go right now. The only cons that exists on this laptop are the lack of io, and thermals can get pretty high, not to the point of overheating but warm. Overall great laptop I highly recommend.

Fast, strong, and reliable. But still light and compact got it open box didn't have a power adapter. I have it on a dell monitor right now trying to figure out how to do the USB-C to display port but still just have it on 4k HDMI at 60Hz super smooth even without G sync . AMD boost runs very well the boost is heavy but helps the RTX 3060 run well . Speakers sound great The tweeters really kick but i dont push them to hard . Running steel series accessories (Mouse, keyboard) great response to the AMD . This is my first PC set up ever glad I went with this portable and easy to figure out how to set up download an update. Very practical and pretty much a desktop replacement . If you’re running all high settings (Me : ARK high and epic settings) you want to run boost and it will get hot almost too much to use the keyboard just FYI. KEEP IT PLUGGED IN OR YOU GOT 1 HR

Pretty good but mine had some QC issues

This is an awesome laptop for the size. Excellent battery life and great gaming performance for the size. Sadly I ended up returning mine and getting something else. I had two or more dead pixels on the bottom right of the screen and four of the keys were not level. Not a functional issue but it made me concerned about longevity and resale in the future. According to Reddit I am not the only one with these QC issues on these asus laptops. Do be aware of the fact that there’s only one m2 slot and a single stick of ram that’s upgradable. The other 8gb is soldered to the motherboard. If you upgrade the SSD, use a cloning software like macrium reflect and a external enclosure.

Great laptop for the price! It handles the games I want to play without any stuttering or lag (google gives you FPS breakdowns) and that's awesome. First time buying an actual gaming PC instead of some bargain bin and it was the right decision. Everything is super smooth and the laptop is light weight, perfect for travel/moving around the house. Now the cons: Screen is small, as you can see from the specs it's a 14" and well that's just how it is. When it gets to a game that it actually needs to stretch its legs for it gets loud, very loud and the battery life is significantly reduced. You can't game with good graphics and not be plugged in. Overall, great value and product.

Well built, light, super quick, stays cool with quiet fans. Best chip and graphics card. Excellent battery. I bought the “specs”. It should last a long time. I do recommend buying it. It is available with a bigger screen, but this one is perfectly fine.

Coming from a budget gaming laptop from 2017, this is such a refreshing take on laptops. However, it does have its quirks. While performance is absolutely top notch and the portability (weight, size, and battery life), the biggest draw is the software issues. If you purchase this machine, be careful with your driver updates, since they made my Zephyrus unusable and I had to roll back the updates. Other than that, the only other point of contention is the battery life indicator - it seems to max out at 10 hours, but it can last longer than that. Overall however, if you can deal with some software issues, this is 100% the best laptop you can get for money these days.

I'm going to give this laptop a 5 star. This is the second one I have gotten. The first one unfortunately within a week had a blue screen and also locked up while watching YouTube. I decided to return it and swap it with the same laptop taking a chance which ended up being a great decision so far. This laptop works perfect, it runs smoothly, it has quick speeds, during gaming the CPU stays around 65 c maybe 70 tops and the GPU no more than around 50 c. The graphics are crisp and the overall performance is satisfactory. It is also great for doing my school work. I like how the keyboard types and how it feels along with the backlight which I enjoy using at night time. This is my dream laptop and so far it is up to par, as I hope it continues to be.

Great lapy, well made, stays cool, overclocks (using the Asus software) fairly well and I'd not too loud with fans on full blast. The GPU in this unit - 3060 can't hit 200mhz over, only about 160, but the graphics ram can go to the moon. Getting over 8k on timespy. The MSI I bought from bestbuy with the 85w 2070 super (power limited) can get over 9k on timespy. I like the 144hz screen, but I like the 240hz on the MSI better. The ryzen 9 5900hs kicks butt over the MSI's Intel 10750 though. 8 cores in a laptop on 3rd gen zen is unreal, super powerful, but the battery doesn't last like the MSI's 99wh.
