Customers are impressed with the ROG Zephyrus 14" Gaming Laptop's performance, graphics capabilities, and long battery life. Many appreciate its compact size, portability, and lightweight design, making it ideal for those on the go. However, some users note that the device can get warm and produce noticeable fan noise during use. The lack of a webcam and some concerns about the keyboard backlight are also mentioned.

Awesome Laptop
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I researched gaming laptops for weeks and to be honest this was not my first choice. The rumors of it overheating while under heavy loads were worrisome to me. The rumors were true and I was gaming at around 85C which seemed too much for me. After finding the solution which was to turn off the automatic boost built into the laptop. Because of this, I can 100% recommend this product. This 14' laptop with extremely powerful components in it gets up to 12 hours of battery life on a full charge. Absolutely blown away.

Great portable laptop
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use this laptop for school, and I am able to power through 6-8 hours with just a few tabs of Google Chrome open. For gaming, I am able to get 144 fps in many games and 60 fps for the intense ones. There is a bit of noticeable ghosting on the display, which can be bothersome when playing fast-paced games. The laptop does get a bit loud when gaming, but wearing headphones is a way to negate the sounds. Regardless of some nitpicks, this laptop is a powerhouse for its portability.

Best value for your dollar
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best performance you can find at this price range. The design is compact and portable for a gaming laptop. The thermals are not too bad. It heats up under heavy load as expected with a Ryzen 9 and Rtx 3060 inside, but not to the point that it fries your fingers. The display has vibrant colors with good brightness, and high smooth refresh rate but my model has some backlight bleeding on all 4 corners. Overall a good laptop. Worth it and highly recommended if you are in the market for 14'' laptop for some gaming and productivity.

Great laptop!!!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall I’m very happy with this laptop so far. The battery life is pretty amazing. Games run great and the 144hz is very nice to have. Two biggest down side to the laptop is that there is no camera and the finger print sensor isn’t very good. The other issues I have is the colors on the screen are little blown out. I usually run the laptop at full brightness so that might be part of my problem.

love it (:
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve had this for more than a year now, and it works as well as I thought (: I don’t use it unplugged, I keep it charged into the wall, but I haven’t noticed any issues in terms of battery. It does tend to get hot near the top of the keyboard closest to the screen, but normally I don’t feel it. Graphics are wonderful, my only “iffy” thought on it is if I run a game that’s a bit too powerful, the audio/graphics lags to the point where it’s physically painful (it’s happened a few times, but it was very rare and due to me just running too strong of a program— I had tried to stream on OSU on discord and it didn’t go so well). Still works as well as it did from day one, but I do recommend getting another keyboard eventually because I didn’t, and I noticed my W button and space bar have been very well loved. Also, there’s no camera— I recommend buying a webcam as well. Note: I got the blue screen of death ONCE and it scared the daylights out of me, but you should be fine. I just had too many programs at the same time/in the background. Examples of games I’ve ran on here, just to name a few: Valorant, Splitgate, Fortnite, Genshin Impact, Powerwash Simulator, Peggle, the Sims 4 WITH added/downloaded mods (laptop held up surprisingly well with this one). Overall great gaming laptop. It’s my first ever one, and my experience has been fun with it. I also occasionally do some college work, so it holds up well for the extra stressful times (:

Amazing!
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an amazing laptop. It’s just the right size. As a STEM major, the Ryzen 9 CRUSHES intense Python programs, all the while working with the 3060 to deliver amazing gaming and VR performance. There is no webcam, but that is chump change due to the amazing “prowess” of this computer. The color scheme is also amazing. It’s a powerful punch in a small package. Lastly, the battery on this outperformed my yoga even when it was new. It will last through an entire day of classes with room to spare.

Fantastic Purchase
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Only had this laptop for a bit over a month, but so far it's delivered everything its promised and more. Excellent portability, battery life, and gaming performance. One caveat though is that the CPU runs a bit on the hot side in turbo mode, but you can cap its power usage in manual mode, so it's not a huge deal (be sure to watch some tutorial videos on how to set up manual mode if you aren't already aware). If any unforeseen problems arise with my laptop in the future, I will update my review to reflect that.

My wifes new best friend
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.EASY, FAST, COMPACT...I should have bought two!! This is a smaller laptop for massive portability and battery life. IT might be smaller, but for everything you do on it, its blazing fast. Video edits are quick, flawless, smooth. There is no down time. For gaming its a dream , display is a tad small if your a sneaky hunter popping off shots from far away though.

No compromises
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After just shy of a month of ownership, I think I've got a good impression of this laptop now. I've run it through games, video editing, virtualization, road tripping, and a lot of couch surfing. There's nowhere it falls short. This is the best balanced laptop I've ever used, and possibly the only 'no compromises' machine I've ever used. A laptop this portable has no business being this capable, yet it is. On the go, it gets 8-10 hours of 'not even trying that hard' battery life. It's not svelte, but it's also not that heavy in my lap. It remains cool and silent on the 'silent' power mode. In games it will play any modern game at or near 60 fps @ 1080p and high or max settings. The fans do get a bit noisy, but they're typical for the gaming laptops I've used. It crunches video faster than the i7-8700 desktop CPU in my gaming tower. It runs Ubuntu in VMWare Player at nearly native levels of performance. The keyboard is nice and tactile, and the keys have great travel. The trackpad, while a bit small, works well. Lastly, the built-in speakers are surprisingly good; nearly Macbook levels of audio quality. The only real stumble I've encountered is a truly terrible wireless driver that causes massive amounts of audio stutter and video de-syncing issues. I've found that downgrading (to the .1070) version resolves this issue. Thanks to some helpful Reddit forum members for figuring this out. It is also worth noting that the upper deck can get quite hot in certain places (especially at the top between the power button and shortcut keys). Overall I can't recommend this laptop enough if you want a single machine that can do everything, especially in this age of desktop GPUs being impossible to come by. Larger laptops will game better, but they won't be as portable. Lighter laptops will travel better, but they won't game as well (or at all). The G14 strikes a fantastic balance, if you need one machine that does it all.

All fills, all thrills, No webcam..
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Been waiting for technology to catch up to what I want/need in a laptop. Finally I have found Size/weight/aesthetics in a reasonably priced laptop. The last gen was great but the lack of page up/page down/Home/End buttons was the killer for me. They have fixed that in this version, also the screen on this one has improved with brightness and response time. Would recommend this laptop to power users as well as someone looking for a thin and light. Only real drawback is the lack of webcam really.

Unreal how good this machine is
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.-Had the G15 RTX 3070 and returned it to buy this laptop. 1. This laptops speakers I think sound better and don't have any bass issues. 2. It's better build quality (no creaking like the G15 had). 3. It's almost a perfect balance between GPU/CPU. 4. The keyboard on this is better than the G15 by a bit (I type a lot). And finally, this laptop is the best computer I think I've ever owned. Unreal how good it is. That being said the G15 is an awesome machine as well and the RTX 3070 with it's QHD display is definitely going to win if you're wanting a 15" laptop. It's just you really do loose the portability aspect, you don't just grab the computer with one hand and carry it around like you can do on the G14. And some minor issues that were too annoying to me personally paying that much money. Now I haven't owned it that long and maybe something will break or not work right in the future, but man, so far it's a dream of a machine. Super portable, gaming beast, good battery life, awesome keyboard, screen is sweet, speakers are top notch, CPU performance is unreal (like unrealistically good for the size). Hope the review helps!

Perfectly functional, but gets very hot
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve had this laptop for a good while now and I have never had a major issue! I use it for gaming and have never experienced any kind of lag or loading issues. However, it does get extremely hot under the base, so if you’re actually using it in your lap, you’re going to want a pretty thick barrier between the laptop and your legs. The upper region of the keyboard also gets very hot to the touch.

Amazing product
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing computer it helps do pretty much anything and it came in perfect conditions. Overall must purchase. The only thing to take in consideration is the fans might sound a little high for any preference but with low profile you can do pretty much any normal task and will not hear any sound at all. Battery life is good depending on the demand that you use. Display is simply amazing and the Asus profile helps making things easier.

Solid laptop from Asus
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great laptop. Hugely powerful, handles games as well as my desktop. Gets a bit toasty, which is expected. Great for gaming as well as other work I do with virtual machines and such. Build quality is very good. Monitor is great with the 144hz panel, colors are a little washed out, but for this price point and performance, I can't really complain too much. Overall, a solid buy

A very clean matt white beast (pre ordered)
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pre-ordered it in feburary and I have been using it for a month now. It is pretty great! I love how small it is and the performance is significantly better than the 2020 edition (which I returned when I heard about this coming out). Yes the temps on idle sit a bit high but you can do things to make it much better. If you want to do that just go on reddit or YouTube and you will figure it out. Overwall it looks much better and performance better than the 2020 edition.
