Many appreciate its compact size, portability, and lightweight design, making it ideal for those on the go. However, some users note that the device can get warm and produce noticeable fan noise during use. The lack of a webcam and some concerns about the keyboard backlight are also mentioned.

G14 with RTX3060
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far I love it. Looks professional and not like a gaming rig. pretty fast. No problems with the fingerprint reader. Great speakers. Heats up a bit under heavy gaming loads so maybe get a cooler pad with fans, but with that being said the head doesn't affect gaming at all.

Small and Powerful but Rather Ugly
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice little machine; powerful, but fans can get audible quickly and compared to say a razer, or even the new dell XPS line, the design is kinda ugly. I had actually wanted to nab a gray one, so that the bezel gray would blend in with the rest of the laptop; having a more cohesive look, but they have been sold out for a while. The white keyboard lighting is harder to see in the silver deck. Luckily my SopiGuard skin not only makes the laptop look complete in the color I want, but it also protects dust and grime getting into the tiny holes on the lid. I know Asus probably wanted to try and look different, but that design is not very feasible for long term users. Again, great laptop, just wish the design was more modern; a 16:10 aspect ratio would not hurt too.

Perfect Mobile Gaming Rig
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a truly epic laptop. If you want to game at max settings with a laptop slightly larger than a macbook air this is your thing. Super mobile and super strong. Runs a bit hot but what gaming laptop doesn't.

A great laptop for the average gamer
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Powerful, fast, ultra lightweight. This is the perfect laptop for the average gamer that doesn’t require large monitors. It does have the ability to add a monitor if that is what you’re looking for. It does get VERY hot so a laptop cooler is definitely recommend.

Super Portable powerhouse.
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the best laptop I have had so far. I mostly use if for work with programs like SketchUp, 3ds Max, Unreal 5 and the creative suite. It has no problem running any of these on the highest settings. It is the smoothest trackpad I have ever used.

Tiny beast
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This thing will run pretty much anything you throw at it. As expected it does get pretty hot while playing demanding games so you might want to invest in some external cooling equipment, but the portability matched with the power makes this an amazing buy.

Great Gaming Laptop for portability
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Been using this laptop for about a year now and all I can say is that this laptop is probably my favorite laptop for gaming on the go. Its small enough to fit in most backpacks and has an rtx 3060 which was running most of my games at 1080p 100fps and above. Love the white aesthetic and had no problems with it. The thermals were not too bad when gaming and my fingers did not feel the heat on the wasd keys which was great compared to my previous 2018 MSI gs65 stealth laptop. My only gripe with it was that it only has 2 USB A ports so if I wanted to attach an external keyboard, mouse, and headset then I would need a usb-c hub. Other than that this is my favorite gaming laptop at this price point.

Amazing power, minor QC issues. 9/10 I'm in love.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It performs WAY better than I expected. Reviewers have some high standards... They said the audio is "decent" or "not bad". I guess I haven't owned a high-end laptop before because these speakers blow me away. It runs Red Dead 2 on max settings at 60fps... That's insane. The fans *are* very loud. I heard that in reviews but didn't realize just how loud it could get. Luckily, you can adjust fan speeds in the armoury crate, so it's still kinda loud but not unbearable. I'm replacing mine today because the unit I got yesterday has a faulty key. I know asus doesn't have the best QC but I'm still kinda bummed I spent hours updating and downloading yesterday, just to drive another hour today and do it all over again. BUT once I have a well-functioning g14, I'll be in heaven. This thing is a little beast. Definitely deserves the "Performance per Dollar" rating of 10 that GizmoTechSlip gave it. Love this thing.

THE best laptop for almost everyone.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolutely amazing. This is the best overal package I have ever used. the product is incredible and POWERFUL, especially at its size and thinness. I recommend 100% for anything accept if you are a professional photographer. The screen is fantastic and is totally 100% SRGB however the 1080P and the missing Adobe or P3 RGB not being accrue means you are missing colors. Buy a color accurate monitor externally to use with it. then you have the best of all worlds. its just a joy to use and the keyboard is amazing. want super long battery life?? go into the the armory crate software and disable the discrete RTX 3060 graphics and you can get way over 10 hours of web surfing.

Expensive Laptop with Good Hardware + Bad Problems
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not a bad laptop, but it's got serious problems for the price. For $2,000, this laptop has: 1) Great hardware 2) A Terrible Battery Life (I was prepared for this) 3) When playing games at the maximum settings the hardware actually allows, it heats up to the point it can literally burn you if it touches your skin 4) I have had a MYRIAD of tiny, frustrating problems. It blue-screened repeatedly for a while, but eventually it just... stopped... after several reboots. I have not idea why, but everything I had that wasn't in the cloud was lost. The tilde key has inexplicably stopped working, and there is basically no known fix. Supposedly a clean wipe of the system MIGHT solve this, but it's not worth that much to me, as it's mostly just extremely annoying. It has Bluetooth issues intermittently as well. Sometimes I have to press the power button SEVERAL TIMES before the laptop actually turns on when it's sleeping. The good news is that it can run software and games with impressive speed and quality. It is fast (although it is also very loud - sounds like a spacecraft taking off, and heats up like one too). Overall, I'm probably not going with ASUS again after experiencing this laptop. For how much I spent on it, it has been extremely frustrating. I've heard from secondhand sources that this is one of the downsides of the ROG-sub-brand, and I think I can concur on all that is said about that. If this laptop were $1200 - $1400, I would think it's totally worth the price, but I'm still paying this laptop off, and I don't feel confident that it will even last that long because it seems so prone to randomly breaking. It seems *fragile* although it doesn't physically feel that way, because it seems like the sofware is constantly teetering on the edge of inexplicably running into some bug or problem and totally screwing me out of hours of my life (it has convinced me of the utility of cloud storage, I'll give it that)

ASUS ROG Zephyrus
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A very portable laptop with decent performance. Only downside so far for me was the terrible Mediatek wifi card in the computer. Started acting up almost immediately. Replaced it with an Intel AX210 and no more problems. Skip Best Buy Totaltech as they did nothing to help with this problem. Kept the laptop for a week for "diagnostics" - Told me that the wifi card was iffy and wouldn't replace it without a charge on a 3 month old laptop. I should've taken the warnings about Best Buy service. New wifi card was $25. Totaltech was $180. Save yourself the money.

BEAST!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.THIS THING IS A BEAST!! The gpu and cpu are perfect, they are extremely powerful and fast. The only problems I had with this laptop is that the fans are a bit loud and it takes about a minute to boot up the first time. (Thats for all of them I think)

Great laptop!
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this laptop as an open box and everything worked out the box except the Fingerprint reader. But a windows update quickly solved that. It plays everything I throw at it and under the right settings I was able to stream video to the laptop at medium brightness, for around 9 hours. Though to be clear, while gaming the battery life can be as low as 2 hours or less but that’s to be expected if your playing a graphic intensive game. Over all a great laptop but I’d you reading this to get an insight into what to look out for, I would say go on Amazon and get a keyboard cover for the laptop this way the white keys with white backlight won’t be a problem. Easy 5 dollar fix.

incredible performance for a laptop
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.running monitors on my desk to have a workstation/desk gaming area to the laptop, so i have the portability of a laptop, but the option of having monitors at my desk to work and game with larger screens. the only hang up that gave this 4 stars instead of 5 was the lack of ports, I bought a hub with ethernet, additional USB and HDMI ports to connect everything I need for the desk station experience. performance with games is amazing for me. i can run all the heavy graphics games i play with no problem

Powerhouse for the size
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's hard to know exactly where to begin, but to start it's amazing. I was out shopping for a laptop for college when I came across this in the open box section for $1200 and wanted to know its specs. Realizing that this was packing a Ryzen 9 and RTX 3060, I knew this was it. For reference, I'm a pretty hardcore gamer and I'm going to be an architecture student so I needed something with a good GPU. After having it for about a month, I can say that it's done everything that I've thrown at it. Now, one of the downsides of this machine is that it gets hot, at least around the exhausts of the chassis. One of my fears was that because of this the keyboard was going to get hot, but it didn't too get too hot. It's understandable why it got so hot and that's because it's thin for its class and it looks so good. But overall its a fantastic machine.

Good performance, but had heat issues
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this for my son so he could have a laptop that could also play games. Specs overall were very good. Good processor, good graphics card. However, when playing games with this laptop, it got unusably hot. Fans would be spinning loudly at full speed, and the keyboard got hot to the touch after only a short while. I had read other reviews complaining about this, and I should have listened. I ultimately returned it since it was not usable for how my son wanted to use it.

Works Great for Gaming - only one caveat
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a good laptop and has excellent performance with all the games I have tried (No Mans Sky, Stranded Deep, Halo, SubNautica, Astroneer). I am looking forward to trying Minecraft RTX and other more graphics intensive games. This computer gets HOT and so you may want to get an additional laptop fan. I connect a keyboard and monitor to the laptop and keep it closed. It seems to have no issues. It is pretty quite even when the fan is on full blast. One other caveat is that within the first 30 days the wireless card seemed to stop working and no troubleshooting websites seemed to help. I found on the ROG website that resetting the BIOS setting may work and it did.

A laptop with a 8.9/10
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Dude the laptop was great as it was described. My initial concern was that there may be spec problem like you know the box says one thing while the product gets delivered with something.. But that wasn't the case. So on the experience. Apart from the drawback that it doesnt have a camera its a power house and i really mean it. That fast and smooth refresh rate coupled with those beefy Ryzen 9 CPU and a RTX 3060 GPU.... like man you can even play ray traced games. I have a abundant of experience with tech and laptops and PCs and this product for whats its worth is great
