Honestly, don’t know where to start. I am going to give the most honest review. Let’s see I bought a MacBook Pro, which I really loved, but I wanted to play games so I turned around went back ended up finding this Zephyrus. I bought it and immediately after turning it on a realized I want my MacBook back let’s start with the screen. The screen gets really bright and colors really pop as a OLED screen would. But I hear people saying this on reviews and I don’t understand why the screen is good but it is not as good as a Matt but screen, which is only mini LED even though that screen is mini LED black or black. Everything is beautiful. My TV is many LED and still doesn’t look as pretty as the MacBook dose the screen shows all types of grays and stuff. Fuzziness looks good, but not that good the speakers probably one of the best features to me. Definitely the best speakers I’ve ever heard on any windows laptop, ever the design is gorgeous, except for the screen with the death wobble, I could do without that. The port selection was pretty good. The charging was pretty good. Here is another one of my issues this laptop does a pretty great job at lasting for a long time when it does not plugged in I will tell you that, but unplug it and play a video game and it’s worse Than most gaming laptops out there. The heat is phenomenal as most gaming laptops are but definitely not as bad as the 4080 and 4090 models I know somebody with one his laptop is always overheating. The slash on the either you like it or you don’t there’s no in between with that. I hate that they keep making the LED lighting is one zone. I’ve always thought they had something to do with the construction of it being so small as they are trying to make it, but I don’t know. The trackpad is definitely one of my favorite parts. I have horrible Internet and I know this but the Zephyrus with the 3070 I have before this had no issue running things. This computer will stop a music video every five seconds. This is one of my favorite brands but I do have to say, unfortunately I am really disappointed in this for that reason I returned it for my MacBook. Oh, not to mention. I do want you to know that this thing is MacBook Pro priced. Not as much as the razor laptops or the highest model MacBook, but the pricing is on the same level as some of the MacBook Pros. The 50 series GPU are coming out and with that the new model of laptops so I wouldn’t waste your time with this one. I would just go get another one, hoping that they have improved this computer.

Amazing laptop. Display and speakers are top tier, keyboard and mousepad feel amazing, chassis is good and is lightweight, there are enough ports for everyday user, charger is great and fast and the battery life is good for a gaming laptop like this, it handles heavy applications and tasks smoothly and fast.

I bought this laptop four months ago. It's stable, fast, and can handle any video game without problems. A cooling base helps because it can get hot after a couple of hours of gaming. It's a quality laptop, and I'm happy I bought it! Highly recommended!

This is a beast, it shreds everything, and screen is awesome, my first OLED and I'm amazed. Only downside is heat, if you're gaming on your lap, well, let's say you wont need to turn on you heating even in colder areas. If you're using it on a stand with screen closed and external screen connected it's going to be more or less fine. Trough Armory Crate you can set it to use iGPU and that can bring temps down. I mean it is 4070 what did you expect (-:

For the price Ang having had this for a few months now, it’s an iffy one for me. The only issue I’ve had is it randomly shuts off. Other than that good pc.

I loved almost everything about this laptop and really wanted it to work for me. But I do a lot of text editing and web browsing for work and I found the OLED display to be unbearable. The color fringing was very noticeable and caused me eye fatigue and middle dizziness after only 15 min. I hear some of this has to do with how windows 11 handles oled technology - so for now I don't think OLED is ready is ready for primetime unless you are strictly gaming or doing video. At least that's the case with this Asus panel. I had to return this and find a mini LED option instead.

The poor review is mainly for the experience of buying the device from Best Buy. This is a direct from Asus order apparently, and my experience purchasing the product has been extremely poor. I ordered the product for in store delivery, took forever to even arrive, once it did arrive it turned out to be the WRONG LAPTOP. I am still waiting for an answer to whether a replacement will be shipped and when, nobody at best buy is able to tell me if and when a replacement will be sent out. It is absolutely not worth spending the $2500 the laptop ends up being with tax and stuff for this poor of an experience.

Bought this laptop when it launched and it is absolutely great. Processor is powerful, runs like a dream. For me the standout feature is the screen. I have never seen a screen this nice. It makes my eyes feel good just looking at it. It's a glossy QD-OLED, and although oled monitors are known for having less-great text, the text sharpness on this screen is incredible. It's actually ruined my desktop monitor for me. I'm shopping for a replacement desktop monitor right now after getting this laptop. The 16:10 ratio and the fact that I can scale down because it's so sharp means that the screen feels a lot bigger than it is.
Battery life is great. I keep it charged at 80% and as long as I switch to eco mode and pause onedrive syncing the battery lasts a good 6-7hrs. If i expect to be away for longer, I'll charge to 100%.
Construction is excellent, it's solid but not heavy, and definitely not at all bulky.
The laptop isn't without its drawbacks, however. Nvidia pulled their bait-and-switch naming with the graphics card. Although this laptop has a "4070" mobile, if you look at the specs they would have been more honest to call it a "slightly better 4060" mobile. If gaming is going to be a priority, you may be better going for the 4080 model, which is a significant jump in specs and also has vapor chamber cooling instead of the heat pipes on this model. Speaking of which...
It also gets hot under load. I mean HOT. My last gaming laptop got hot too but this thing cooks to where you definitely can't have it on your lap and it's uncomfortable on your hands. And loud too. The fans go nuts when it gets hot. That's the tradeoff for such a thin and light gaming machine, though.
The included Windows 11 is a pretty bloated install and you can feel it. Reboot times are longer than you'd expect with a brand new, super powerful laptop. I intend to reinstall windows, and probably switch to windows 10.
One last thing, Armory Crate is a buggy mess. I would have had to return this laptop if it hadn't been for Ghelper software, which is free and 20x better than Armory Crate.
Overall i highly reccomend if your purpose is primarily work with the ability to game while you're on vacation or whatever. Video editing is also buttery smooth.
If you're looking for a desktop replacement gaming rig, you'd probably be better off getting a chonkier laptop with better cooling.

Its a beautiful laptop but it crashes so often while playing online game. It cant seem to handle me listening to something in the background while playing a game which seems wild to me for the price and specs. Been considering returning it.
