I got my computer used. I think it is a decent brand. I have not had many issues with it. It did stop on me once. I brought it into Best Buy. The service guy at Geek Squad said all computers do that. I also got the 1 year protection plan. I recommend always getting the protection plans! They are worth the money. If you have a young child in school who is needing a computer this is a good one. Or if you are like me and only use a computer for emails and facebook this is a great model.

Got this for my wife. Honestly, I didn't expect it to run like my ASUS ROG heavy duty system but I'm a bit disappointed in this unit. My wife doesn't do any fancy video editing or anything like me and it still runs slower with basic use such as web surfing, etc. Also, she's only been using it for about 2 months now and the adapter already died so now we have to contact ASUS to send a new one.

ASUS got this right. Great laptop for the price, light weight for a 15 inch laptop.

I recently left my job, of which I used my work laptop for everything. I was gone from the company all of 4 days and needed to get a laptop. I went with this Asus laptop because I've been so happy with my Zen Watch 2. I couldn't be happier, lightweight, decent battery, sizable screen, CD port (I didn't want to have to buy an external drive), and pentium processor--it has all I need. I have a 2 in 1 laptop too, I hate it, the tablet mode and PC mode often get themselves confused so I knew I wanted something old school but updated. This laptop fit the bill.

It was a very nice purchase for the price. Has everything I needed and easy to use.

Working good so far. Sometimes it got deconnected from the internet connection when other devices are still connected

Great laptop for the price. Not a lot of bells and whistles, but we only use it for web browsing and word processing.

I like the weight of the laptop. The laptop is easy to use and was easy to set up.

I don't do business on a computer. the Asus fits my needs and it's affordable.

Like this lightweight asus laptop as it has a lot of functionality for the price. Gonna upgrade the 4ram memory tho

Overall I have to say this is a great laptop. I bought an open box and paid less than $200. I am using it for dual boot of Win 10 and then Kali Linux on a USB for Ethical Hacker classes. My only criticism is the touchpad. When you press down on it to 'click'... the touchpad is very noisy. Also the touchpad is way too sensitive. I could adjust for the sensitivity, but the noise of the touchpad is what I do not like. So I use a mouse instead... cheap solution.

for the price this computer is a good value, easy start up, only thing I don't like is the mouse pad isn't the best

Got this for my kids. Does everything they need. Not a bad setup for the price. We're happy with everything so far.

$229 and it ALWAYS hits $229. Comes with DVD player 15" monitor for that price you really can't beat it. Fixing one costs more then that. It lasted about 2 years for my daughter who probably used it 5 times a week to watch movies do school work stream Netflix so when the background light went out and it was gonna be around $150 to fix it we just bought a new one. And I'd do it again.

Works perfect for my nephews for their middle school work. Compact and light weight yet sturdy enough for them too.

The price is right, but you also don't get a lot of speed or any big features.

I wanted to buy something reliable, and cheap. I have never had issue with Asus, so I gave this a try. This was for my mother who primarily checks email, surfs and uses facebook. I wanted something with no frills and would last. I like that its large and has enough space for a number pad. it feels solid and is quick. Comes with plenty of HD space. My only complaint is the track pad. it seems clunky and unresponsive at times while the rest of the computer is well built.

I already owned an Asus and I loved it so I upgraded to a newer one. The price was great for such a great computer

Bought for my kids to do homework. Works great if not just a bit slow. They have no problems with it otherwise.
