Not as fast as I had hoped
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This was not as fast as i had hoped and also had a lot of apps on it that I didn't need or want so I have to spend a lot of time deleting them. But i am also taking into consideration that I bought this as an "open item" so whoever returned may have had this stuff on it but still would have thought BB would have restored.

Great laptop for the basic tasks of the day!

It does the basics. I get what i need handled.. done. I wasn't expecting a super fast computer but a laptop that was inexpensive and performed at a level that i could get simple tasks completed.

Fast and Functional

Very responsive operating system while not much loaded yet to slow it down. Ordered an external mouse and disabled the touchpad to help while working with the keypad. Thin and lightweight- will need to see how durable it is due to the light structure.

Decent starter laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Can be slow out of the box. I did a clean install of the os to get rid of all the bloatware. I also changed out the harddrive for a $70 256G ssd. Runs like a champ now.

Great Value for the Price

Already fans of the Asus brand, it was an immediate YES when I found this one at a steal of a price. It's working out perfectly for our family and our 10 year can now access the work he needs without any issues.

Just enough for the novice user

It does everything that I need it to, browse the internet, DVD player, etc. Given what I use it for it was a great price for what I as got. I even bought one for my grandpa because he was confused by what he needed vs didn't need in a laptop. He loves his too
