My husband reviewed many laptops and chose this one for our daughter. She has been very pleased with its performance. It was a good quality for a great price.

I bought this computer as a gift for my daughter and she loves it. She is going to college full time and also working full time. This laptop works great and the cost was very reasonable. I would recommend it.

There are better laptops that are not too much more expensive than this one. My advice is to avoid Celeron and Pentium processors if possible. Nothing personal against this laptop, it's just not equipped very well. But it can do the job for you for small tasks.

This computer is designed to simple work that's means office, Internet, Facebook and similar. If you do that is perfect for you if you need more power for complex calculations or heavy games is not. After said that I really like the design and the power inside.

I've always had a Dell computer but this ASUS one beats Dell any day. I have not had any issues with it. Streaming video on demand is seemless and the storage capacity I was able to store all my music.

Bought this laptop for my wife for xmas. Purchased this item based on price for hardware. So far so good no issues and the laptop functions well. She uses it for work so mostly email and surfing the web.

I was a bit leery about buying a laptop for only $199, but this is one of the best purchases I've ever made at Best Buy. It's got an Intel Quad-Core processor, albeit a Pentium, and is plenty fast for whatever I need it to do. I've been streaming videos and music with no lag time whatsoever; I am not a gamer at all so I cannot comment on that aspect of using the laptop. The only drawback to the system, and it is not the fault of Asus, is that you have to download the Windows 10 updates the system, and that can take some time. Aside from that, I really love my Asus, especially having a USB 3.0 port. I plug in my external USB 3.0 Hard Drive and the data gets read at lightning speed. I highly recommend this laptop.

I wish the Best Buy associate would have told me about the minimal processor on this computer before I got it. I wanted the computer for basics - checking email, Internet, and Microsoft word documents. I can barely type an email on it. I brought it to the Geek Squad, thinking I had done something wrong. He showed me how to make necessary updates, but said that the processor was the slowest that money can buy. Even after the updates, the computer clocks every minute or so while just typing an email. It might be OK for very basic basic needs, but be warned everything will be extremely slow.

I found this laptop to be quite slow. I only use it to pay bills, a little online shopping, and for iTunes, but it is much slower than my old one. It gets the job done, and for the price it works for me.

Laptop was exactly as described and setup was easy. Worked great for two weeks now but turned it on the other day and it froze up. Rebooted and it worked fine so really can't say why it happened. I would buy this again, good price for what you are getting.

Replaced my old widow 7 computer getting use to the new one so far it's been going very well. It's so much faster and lighter weight to carry. Big changes between widow 7 and 10 but I think I'm getting it.

I got this laptop for school. It does everything i want it to do without lagging. Great comp for the price

Bought this because my previous laptop which was an HP was giving me so much problems. I bought this laptop 11/5/16 and so far so good. I haven't had any problems with it. Love the keyboard layout, easy typing, no lag. Perfect for what I need for school.

If you need to do basic study and school related activities, this is fine. occasional web browsing, etc. i bought this for my daughter for around $200. Not for power users, but works for the basics.

I wasn't sure this was gonna work considering the price I paid for it. turns out it is one of the best computers I have ever owned. It runs very fast, has good battery life. plenty of storage place.

would be nice to include info with laptop, such as if you want to change your password, you are required to have a disk drive, or you are locked out of your computer. I found that very irritating.

I like the computer and would have given it 5 stars if I didn't have an issue increasing and decreasing the size of the screen. Also the cd door would not stay closed in the beginning. It apparently fixed itself since I have not had any problem since.

I bought this machine for my wife, she loves the sleek design, and she mainly just does net surfing and social media, so the one drawback, only 4mb RAM, isn't an issue. It was a great deal for a very capable machine, I'd buy it again, so far so good!

the laptop is working very well. it is super sensitive to light touch so be careful, hovering over something too long may delete it or change something you didn't intend to change. the keyboard is easy to type on. i'm happy with the computer overall.

Went in to bestbuy looking to purchase my daughter a tablet and ended up buying also a laptop for myself works great & love the big screen it has & the fact that I can use it on my wireless wifi
