This computer is great for the price, I needed only a basic computer to use office tools, and this laptop works just great, very fast and great screen, definitely worth the money.

I am first time asus laptop computer purchaser. My friend, a very experienced IT specialist for a large non profit organization, highly recommended this asus to me. So very easy to set up. I used Geek Squad to set up and they did.

I bought two of this computers about 6 months ago and they work fine. The only problem for me is that the touchpad gets crazy sometimes, when I touch it, it changes through windows many times. But that's about once per day

I got this laptop for my wife and she loves it. She's going to grad school and needed a new laptop. For the price you can't beat it.

Works as expected. Low end, but paid low end price. Wife uses for writing and checking e-mail. Has older processor, so slower than I-7. Adequate for routine uses. Not capable for higher demands, such as gaming.

I got this one during a deal of the day sale. Couldn't be happier. This laptop packs a good value compared to other offerings at the time.

I needed a basic computer for use of internet and creation of documents. I have only had it a few weeks but serving its purpose. The materials feel a little...cheap but hey...it was. If its durable and lasts it will be a win.

Disappointed with speed and keyboard feel. I prefet the touch and feel of the dell keyboard. Needs to be dockable. Not enough USB ports. Had to buy an external USB hub to connect printer second monitor and wireless keyboad/mouse

I bought a laptop from Best Buy and 16 months later, with only 830 hours of use, the hard drive was totally corrupted. Best Buy's Geek Squad said there was nothing they could do (12 month warranty) and there was no explanation as to why the hard drive crashed except to admit the laptop was cheap and most likely defective when I bought it. Oh Yes, the Geek squad would not even look at item until they received a payment of $149.00 up front to fix the defective item (estimated repairs $225.00 - 250.00) . I am cancelling my Best But credit card and will no longer purchase defective items from Best Buy.

I liked this laptop. It is kind of slow when you first start to use it but if you delete the unnecessary programs then it becomes relatively fast. Its sound is also amazing.

Computer did what I need. Disappointed in the battery failing and not being able to have it fixed locally. Instead had to be sent out and I was without a computer for 2 weeks.

My laptop went man down and I had to get a new machine. For the money this is not a bad laptop. My only complaint is that the keyboard does not light up when cap lock or number lock are on. Other than that its good to go.

This lap top is good for basic stuff. A gamer would think it is to slow. If you are not in a hurry, then this product is great. Good buy for the money. Thanks Reggie

Overall, this computer is great for the price ($250 roughly while on sale when bought). However, sometimes, the wi-fi stops, and I have to restart the computer to reconnect to networks, even if they are all available.

It's fine for a back up computer for family to surf net etc. but want many expected to game or anything. It's a bit slow for pentium. Speakers are loud which is a plus.

For a basic computer without a lot of bells and whistles, it works pretty well. Not many issues where it has froze, those are usually restricted to when I try to do too much, multiple tabs open with large excel files.

Love it so much just bought 2 more on Black Friday. 1 for me and 1 each for 10 and 12 year old boys. Plays many games but not a hardcore gamers computer. Great Value!!

I've been in the market for a laptop for awhile and wanted a good deal. I didn't need anything fancy. When I came across this I saw what a good deal it was and it was the brand I wanted so I got it. Not bad so far.

The Asus - Vivobook X540sa 15.6 Laptop is an excellent buy for the money. For what I do and my needs it was a bargain. For me, it's quick, efficient, and good looking.

Will do nothing spectacular, but everything well. What do you expect for $279? If you surf the web, check email and use office, you will not be disappointed. Basic tasks satisfied by a bit more than basic computer.
