Very nice laptop, good buy, easy to use, and Best Buy help me download security

I bought this laptop for my niece who is in college. She needs one for her everyday reports and research. She likes it so much because she said it is easy to use in her everyday study research and papers. I will recommend this to a friend of mine for her home use because of the price and ease of use.

I had an aging PC that was running slow and took forever to start up. Even though I use my iPad or iPhone for email and web searches, I still needed a capable Windows laptop for many other applications. Especially wanted a good CD/DVD drive and flash drive slots. Good graphics and fast enough for what I use it for; no heavy gaming. Great price, works as advertised.

Great laptop for a great price, just what i needed for some college classes, recomend geting it

Although I purchased open box I didn't expect it would have an incorrect charger. As soon as I noticed I called customer service and they immediately had a replacement waiting for me at the nearest store. As far as my purchase I am pretty happy with the item. I don't use daily to notice anything wrong. Just occasionally I have to restart to get my wifi to work..

For a computer for my wife for under $250 it is a great computer. My only reason it is not getting 5 stars though is that is just drops the wifi at times for no reason at all and we have to restart the computer. And its not our wifi I have tried this everywhere and it happens everywhere. It is very user friendly and plenty of memory and space for the price.

Bought it in the store so my wife could complete a computer class she's taking. Windows 10 is a far cry from Mac OS, but for the price, I suppose it's an adequate computer. It's slow, the screen is super pixelated, and the trackpad is horribly inaccurate (it jumps around and makes you right click in a very small lower right corner). We compared it with some of the super lightweight ultrabooks (Dell, Lenovo etc), and at least in the store, this felt faster, came with a larger (although not sharper) screen, and much bigger hard drive (500gb HDD vs 32gb eMMC).

Got this for my Dad who does not use a PC often but needed to work mostly with Word and search the web. Does exactly what he needs, price was excellent. Sales was excellent in helping choose the right fit for him. Build quality is good, Top down Uni-body design. Not much available in the way of upgrades however for the price this is hard to beat.

Love having all this storage and a cd/DVD player. Great price too

I purchased the 1 terabyte version for myself several months ago, and when my kid needed a new laptop, I got the 500 megabyte version of the same machine. It operates well, has a decent amount of ram, and plenty of hard drive space. I've recommended this laptop to several people, and since, both my mother and my sister have gotten it as well.

Keep your expectations realistic and you will be pleasantly surprised. Yes, it's a budget system, and yes, it can, at times, feel a little flimsy however, for the price, the speed and responsiveness are more than adequate. NO, this is NOT a gaming-laptop and it's not a "workhorse" either but again, for the price, it does what it does, well.

This laptop is perfect for basic activities such as writing a paper, watching movies, and other leisurely activities.

Needed an inexpensive computer to run computer based training both flash drive and cd. This computer worked well.

Good graphics, easy to use, good price, light weight.

You get what you pay for. I've had really good luck with Asus in the past, even when buying a "low-price" model. This time I've found it to be slower and clunkier to use. The touchpad is hard to control and I've had more than one occasion where everything froze.

This is a value laptop, no doubt about it. The casing is plastic. But for less than $200, is a great value. Does everything need it to. Performance was great. HDMI connection to external monitor, watch DVD. Streaming, internet. Definitely happy with the purchase.

On the 4th week wifi keeps disconnecting. I have to keep restarting laptop or my router (both options suck). I didn't notice that the receipt said replacement (or return, I guess) is only if within 15 days. Went to Best Buy and they say there is nothing wrong with it but all our other gadgets do not disconnect from the wifi.
