I bought this for my sister because she needed something for her first year of school. It does everything she needs it to do, it's great for storing things such as project, music, and pictures. Perfect for her first laptop. Super light weight and fits perfectly in her backpack and on her desk in lecture. She loves it!

I've been using this for a couple of months and I have to say I've enjoyed this computer. The only problem that I run into is internet connectivity issues after a few hours. I'm not sure it's my internet since my sons ASUS laptop never has any problems. I'll have to checking the setting. Other than that good computer.

The laptop met my expectations for the most part. I bought it to be used by my friends 2 small children to do their homework assignments and watch videos. the processor speed is a little slower than I expected but let's face it, I couldn't beat the price.

This is a great laptop for the price. It operates well, has a lot of usable features, and a full keyboard with number pad. It's also amazingly light. The display is crisp. My only complaint is the battery. It doesnt stay charged nearly as long as I thought but I don't travel with it so it hasn't been an issue.

This is the only unit out there with this feature set in this price range. It has a stunning HD display and a monitor out connection, a micro and multiple full-size USB ports (2.0 and 3.0), RJ45 port, HDMI port, headphone jack, adequate CPU, hard-drive and memory suite, R/W DVD/CD drive, and reasonably fast Wifi processing. For its size it is reasonably light weight. Only thing I'm not a fan of is the touch pad. As touch-pads go, it works well but I'm kinda a touch-pad hater. I may look for a small-form trackball to connect to one of the many USB's. A nice-to-have not present on this model is a lighted keyboard. If you need a feature-rich platform that can function without being tethered to the cloud, can't beat this unit at this price.

Excellent price on this laptop at Best Buy, had the CD/DVD drive that I still need that a lot of laptops don't have now, could stand to have a little faster processor, but overall you cannot argue with what you're getting for the price they have for it. I have never purchased a laptop for this price before!

We purchased this at the last minute to help out a young friend who was starting college. It was a good entry level computer that satisfied her needs. The price was great. The negative is the case is a little flimsy but for the price it meets her needs. Good memory and decent speed also has a disc drive.

It's a good pc to work on your work files at home. It has enough memory to get the job done. You just need to install office software to do your files. Love it. It's very light to put on your lap while using it. It does not heat up fast.

I purchased this because I needed a basic computer for a cheap price. It works. It is very slow, tends to crash, but I only needed it for basic Word and internet so it's not a big deal. Good for students or a starter computer I would say.

I honestly bought this for the price. It was very low priced and seemed to have nice perks - like a cd drive. It definitely is slow, but I don't have many complaints aside from that. For the amount I paid I didn't expect a speed racer lol

Bought this for my wife and she found it easy to use and enjoyed using the various features.

I wanted an affordable laptop that I could use to surf the internet, office suite, streaming videos, and watching DVDs. For those items this device works great. I have another ASUS laptop for years now and it works great, so I was not surprised that this laptop works great as well.

This laptop has all the essentials for doing your school work. But comes at a great price feels extremely sturdy and operates quickly for a cheaper pc.

I originally was looking at the Dell laptops but when I saw this Asus I thought I would save a few bucks and give it a shot. Great decision! This laptop has been perfect for all my computer needs so I got a great computer and accessories. Very comparable to the bigger name brand laptops.

I purchased this laptop for my 94 year-old father. No frills but it is light and has enough memory and graphic resources to meet his simple needs (email, web, pictures). I paid $199 for it and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a basic laptop for a senior or student.

Laptop works very well, hdmi port supports audio passthrough automatically with no extra fiddling. It boots quickly, has a nice lap feel, touchpad is large and easy to use.... The only problem is it's slow, like not enough ram slow. Overall it's a very good laptop, but not great.

I love this laptop. No problems streaming content or checking email and social media.

It is ok. I use it for the internet and checking emails. I watch movies on it and produce Word documents and it is fine for those uses.... It can get slow at times but other than that I would say its a good product.

I did not want to spend more than $200 for a new laptop since my needs are pretty basic (email, banking, bill paying, shopping). I was not familiar with this brand before my purchase, but so far so good.
