I bought this laptop Labor day weekend sale $199 for my oldest grandson I was more then surprise by how good the screen looked and the speed it had the I went back to get a second one for myself and have had no problems with either one good laptop for the price.

When first starting the computer you need to delete a lot of the junk files and apps and organize the cache. Once done it works about as well as you would expect of an entry level computer. Not astoundingly good picture or speed, but adequate for the price.

First laptop I've owned. I'm not sure I like Windows 10 operating system. Seems to take too many steps to get where I want to go.

I purchased this laptop and the laptop died after the 14th day. I brought back, they let me do an exchange for the same laptop. The second one was slow just like the first one but it didn't completely die. I won't say this is the best laptop to buy if you want something fast! but for $199 -you pay for what you get. Remember this is only about 1.6 GHz Pentium, with only 4gb RAM and 500 GB storage!! Not your fastest!! Take out the bloatware and hope you can get a year out of it is my suggestion. I keep my fingers crossed it doesn't just crash and become on usable like first one. This computer is recommended for a young child in grade school, or grandparent needing for just emailing & browsing. I could have paid $150 more and had an quad core I-5 with 8gb of ram that I could use to play games or use programs that utilize a lot of memory. But I chose this because it was under $200. Computers today are like phones! after so many months the next one is released and is faster!! But with this laptop you start off slow, so in 6 months it's outdated. So don't expect the fastest laptop. Asus is a great manufacturer (loved their Asus Nexus 7" tablet I purchased 3 years ago & is still working) so I'm willing to take my chances that I will get a year out of this laptop! Pay extra if you don't want to wait for computer to load as you browse and you want something quick and dependable! Good Luck!

I love it. The price is unbeatable. The laptop is great. Very light and has everything I wanted. I can recommend this laptop to anyone who wants a good product for a very small budget.

Inexpensive laptop, good for email and internet surfing. The main reason I bought it is to view pictures from memory cards in trail cameras. I don't worry about taking this one out in the woods, not a big investment if it gets damaged.

this is a great computer for the price. We have had several Asus computers and they are all of good quality. Runs a little slower than I am used to but still does an excellent job.

This is a great value if you need a low priced laptop; however it is very slow so I would not recommend it for anything more than basic word processing email or simple wed surfing.

I love this laptop. It has a lot of storage space and is great for everyday use, downloads, streaming music and videos and browsing the web and emails. The webcam that takes great pics. The sound from the speakers is good quality.

Don't expect anything amazing out of the Vivobook, it's decent but not outstanding. Browsing the internet, running Microsoft Office, and Spotify is fine but don't trying watching YouTube at the same time. Please note: when trying to set it up, I went to Windows Update to try installing any updates and it got stuck around 60% and then every other program on the laptop from Chrome to Edge to Spotify would not work properly so don't try to update the Vivobook immediately, do your research on which updates to you can install without issue. I do believe this is none of them but I've been too busy to do the research myself right now.

This laptop was recommended by a store associate and it is perfect for my 11 year old. Great basic functionality if used mainly for streaming movies & uploading on cloud drives. Good price wouldn't be hard to replace if broken.

Love that it's lightweight, great camera & storage space. Holds a reasonable charge.. Fan sometimes won't stay on to cool the unit, so if it gets hot it just goes off. In the long run that's supposed to protect the computer

Whether it's screen size, memory capacity or hard drive, the Asus Vivobook simply can't be matched by anything else on the market. All in all, it's a very competent laptop choice; perfect for a first time college student.

I was in need of a second laptop but it didn't want to spend too much money on it. I purchased this laptop at Best Buy. It's a really good sturdy laptop, but unfortunately a little too slow for even my secondary needs.

This was a good purchase and a good value for a refurbished unit that looked new. Saving was well worth it and with the protection plan we are covered, so the saving went towards that. My other daughter dropped hers the first week in college and i did not have the plan, it cost me more to fix the cracked screen then this whole laptop which is as nice. I wish I would have purchase the plan with the college student.

I was loking for a decent low cost, light weight laptop to replace my old one. This one is slim and pretty lightweight. Its fast enough for my needs so far. I just have to get used to windows10. Id recommend it though.

windows 10 locked me out and there is a $40 charge if I take the 3 day old computer in the store to have it unlocked, also, have not yet successfully loaded "lifetime purchase" of microsoft--maybe mine doesnt live?!!!

This is a great computer for a non gamer or light is. It is just what I was looking for. And the price was right. Best buy for under 250 dollars. I would purchase another if I had a need for a second computer.

Just as the title states. For about $250 this laptop does its job. I personally bought this laptop to be able to work without any distraction. I have my own built computer but I tend to play games than work lol...
