had problems when I got it kept shutting off took it back two or three times best buys refunded my money and got another laptop

The screen does not display properly & the speakers will make a strange on going noise that I have to shut down the computer to make it stop

this computer only worked for about 2 mounts very un happy with it go's to ASUS screen only put in password it go's right back

Not even 3 weeks after I bought it it began randomly disconnecting to any wifi I connected to. The only way to reconnect was to restart it.

Computer hardly works. Takes forever to boot and drops wifi a lot and then you have to reboot. Spend more money to get a better computer.

After 3 session in store with geek squad and 2 on line machine still did not work. Returned it and got Apple air and NO problems

My Asus notebook computer crashed in less than 2 months and you had to send it back to Asus. I was without a computer for weeks.

At first, this computer seemed to work fine. Less than 3 months later, the machine is literally inoperable: It won't turn on.

The most I wanted to do was to take some online courses, guess what? Most of the time I couldn't get wifi so I returned it.

Computer has already developed hardware issues after 30 days. Having to send back to ASUS on my dime for repair.

It took for ever to boot up, it also took for ever to complete an update. (like three days). I took it back.

The computer is great. I've enjoyed using it since getting it. Sends me updates I need etc. Very great choice

The computer constantly disconnects from the wifi and it takes to long to reboot. Not a good product.

It's been about a month since I purchased this laptop for school purposes, and I would say that it is an excellent laptop for students or just simply searching the web, storing pictures, etc. I purchased this laptop in store, list price in store was about $270 but I priced match with Best Buy's online price for $250. While writing this review, the online price dropped to $230 so I think it's an excellent price. I've been saving a lot of word documents for school since I just started college, uploading pictures to my laptop from my phone, and downloading a few songs here and there. 500GB is definitely a lot of room. Battery life is AMAZING! Before I purchased this laptop, I spent around $450 on an HP laptop model number 15-BA085NR that had 8GB Memory and 1TB hard drive, only to return it back to Best Buy after 3 days because I only got 1 hour of battery life. However, this Asus after being fully charged last me a good 5 hours. After having this laptop for about a month, there hasn't been any crashes/lagging. Although it's silver, fingerprint marks isn't anywhere near noticeable. Keyboard is nice and spaced out, identical to a Macbook UNFORTUNATELY, the reason why I'm giving 3 stars instead of a full 5 is because the touchpad is pretty sensitive. That's the only bad thing I would say about this. It gets pretty irritating because because if I'm surfing the web, I'll click something and it'll highlight the whole screen sometimes. Not a major issue, I simple just use a wireless mouse with it.

There are much better choices out there. Very flimsy, prone to damage and unreliable.

I have used the computer 4 times and now it won't even boot up. Stay away from Asus!!
