I had high hopes for this laptop. This was my first “adult” laptop purchase (always been provided with one through school or work) and I did an immense amount of research on all types of laptops before purchasing. I wanted something I could use for work and had the storage for all the things I need plus some more, and I wanted something I could use a smart pen with to write, scroll, read and create artwork. This is why I loved the capabilities of the Asus Zenbook Duo 13” laptop. Unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the hype. Issues I had with this laptop (note* it was kept clean, no spills, no drops, no damages, etc.) 1. The biggest issue - the second screen just STOPPED working one day and never returned again. I went back + forth between ASUS \ Best Buy and then forth + back again. Neither of them could figure out who was the right person to talk to at first. This occurred less than 1 year into owning this laptop. Best Buy said they couldn’t fix it, my warranty only covered getting it checked out in which I had to pack up the laptop (let’s remember that this is what I use for work and would be out of a laptop for up to a month or more - this is what ASUS told me.) Asus also told me that I could upgrade my warranty, I said okay then would that cover a replacement so I could send in my current laptop and receive a new or refurbished one? And they said well actually none of our warranties cover replacement…… LOL okay, thanks for the suggestion then?! Never could send in my laptop before my warranty expired. Also, if you take it to any other repair shop even to just have it looked at - it could make your warranty nullified. I have troubleshooted for countless hours and spent hours with ASUS support with no solution. They also said that even if I sent my laptop in, waited a month - 1.5 months and they couldn’t fix it that they’d just send it back as is…. This makes no sense to me. So I would risk shipping my laptop back and forth and potentially causing damage, be out of a device for work or borrow / buy something else in the meantime, for it possibly not even be fixed?? Literal nonsense. This was not even 1 yearrrrr after buying. 2. When the second screen did work, it was cool and definitely great to have. However, it’s not easy to hold or position in your lap for drawing or artwork. It’s kind of awkward because the screens can only open to lay flat and they’re not actually even with one another. So, not the best but not a deal breaker totally. 3. The ASUS pen that came with it is NOT good. There are also not a whole lot of options that compare to Apple Pencil IMO. 4. Things that other people might care about (but don’t bother me really): fan is loud when running on full speed, no camera cover, gets really warm when in use and/or charging, a little bit on the heavy side, keyboard is super lightweight and feels flimsy tbh Things that were great: - The screen quality (when both worked + then when just one that works), super super clear and great color profiles - the battery life is actually really good in my opinion - the amount and types of ports on the laptop are great (harder and harder to find laptops with a decent amount / types of ports these days) - runs a good amount of applications and systems at the same time without crashing out - the stand that is attached is actually really great and I wish every laptop had this feature. So easy to view and switch from working at a desk to travel to whatever. Overall, would I recommend buying this laptop? Absolutely not. This laptop was just about as expensive as a Mac. I thought I was investing in something that would last a long time. Jokes on me I guess… Do yourself a favor and skip all the research and grunt work and just go buy a Mac or something with high reliability and technical support and a good manufacturer warranty.

I ordered the ASUS Zenbook Duo UX8406CA online and picked it up at the Best Buy Manassas store, Virginia. The staff there were kind, patient, and very helpful. The pickup was smooth and the way they handled everything made the experience even better. I genuinely felt respected and taken care of. Now about the laptop. This is hands down one of the best devices I have ever used. I was confused between the Zephyrus and this, finally ended up with this. LLMs work on this Laptop. You can use it for AI workloads. You can use local AI models with LM Studio. That was a surprise for me. Gemma 12b parameter model works so well. The dual screen setup is incredible. Both screens are 14 inches with 3K OLED displays that are bright, colorful, and extremely sharp. I can run multiple apps side by side, take notes on one screen while working on the other, or watch videos without losing productivity. The screens look amazing in all lighting conditions and are a joy to use. Performance is outstanding. With the Intel Core Ultra 9 processor, 32 GB of memory, and 1 TB of fast storage, this laptop flies through tasks. I use it for work, design, AI tools, and even a bit of gaming, and everything runs smoothly. No freezing, no delays. It feels powerful and responsive all the time. The build quality feels premium. It is sturdy yet light enough to carry easily. The keyboard is detachable and very comfortable to type on. It is also great that it includes a stylus, which works smoothly for writing or drawing. The magnesium body feels strong and gives confidence that it will last. Battery life has been solid. For regular work and browsing, I can go most of the day without charging. When I use both screens at higher brightness and run heavier software, the battery still holds up for several hours without any issue. There are a few things to get used to. When using the laptop on your lap, the keyboard placement can feel different, but it works perfectly on a desk. Also, the fans can get a little loud when the system is under full load, but that is expected with this level of performance. What I personally loved: • The dual display makes multitasking feel natural • Performance is smooth and reliable • Great build quality with premium materials • Stylus and keyboard both work very well • Excellent experience at the Manassas store This laptop is perfect for people who want speed, flexibility, and a visual workspace that adapts to different needs. I am genuinely happy with this purchase and grateful for the service I received from Best Buy. Five stars without hesitation.

a game changer for students and digital note taking. i’ve used my microsoft surface pro for years, but wanted something i could lay in bed and use and have a bigger screen for watching lectures/taking notes simultaneously. everyone knows microsoft’s surface pro’s have been ranked #1 for note taking, HOWEVER i have had it about a month now and i can say, this asus zenbook duo has been all that and more. i now can watch full screen lectures and take notes on the 2nd screen effortlessly, there is no latency and microsoft OneNote works seamlessly. **there is a feature that if you touch the screen with 3 fingers then the touchpad pops up, i recommend disabling that and disabling “touch while pen is in use” because those features did cause some problems while note taking and palm rejection, i ALMOST returned it due to this.. but once these features were disabled, everything is literally perfect.** i also love being able to use as a regular laptop when i don’t need the bottom screen. that was rarely an option with the surface pro, sure i had the attached keyboard but the kickstand would only work on a flat surface and at a certain angle, so laying in bed or in my lap didn’t work so well. my one complaint is there isn’t a place to store the stylus pen on the device and i am prone to losing things. i ordered a stylus holder and placed it on the front of the device (pictured in photo) and have had no issues since. as for battery life, so far i haven’t had it die while in use. i have noticed that using both screens for a few hours does slightly heat up the device, and the battery seems to me like i may not last an entire 9 hour day without the charger, but most my classes have plug-in capabilities. i also keep a portable charger in my bag just in case. i want to reiterate though that i have not had any issues! just don’t expect to use both screens all day without a single charge the screen quality is amazing. i’m still playing with all the features but there’s so many cool things you can do and it has a little widget that allows you to do different things with the screens. i’m learning most tips and tricks from youtube, check all of those out to get the full experience! it feels super durable. i ordered tempered glass screen protectors from amazon and put them on myself, and they have not effected the note taking or stylus pen at all! be sure to take off the “intel” sticker from the bottom of the screen before trying to put the screen protector on to avoid a giant bubble. overall i am not a tech junkie, so this is a honest review from an average person with minimal knowledge of all the specifications and techy stuff. i just want to recommend this to anyone who regularly uses “split-screen” features on their current device, or anyone who takes digital notes religiously as i do. this has changed online classes and school for me. i love it so much!

I paid almost $2K for this laptop and yes, it looks Beautiful and I like the double screens, but the laptop had sooo many glitches and issues within the first month. I barely use the laptop for anything except shopping online and paying bills. It is NOT a good work laptop or editing laptop. Another issue it had was the desktop main screen. It basically doesn't let me place documents where I want on the Desktop screen or moves it whenever I try to relocate it. The battery life is good. Since I barely use it, the battery life usually lasts quite a while before I have to charge it again. For $2,000 though, I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND this stupid laptop. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED. It's been about 1 year.

This is a really cool and powerful laptop. The dual screens work well, and it is great for multitasking, schoolwork, and watching videos while working on something else. I also liked the way the keyboard attaches. The backlit keyboard feels good, and the built-in kickstand is a big plus because you do not need to carry an extra stand. The main issue, in comparison, is the weight. Compared to the Lenovo Yoga Book 9i, this one feels heavier and not as easy to carry around for class or daily use. I used ot for a presentation and it did feel like carrying a similar sized gaming laptop. I also noticed that when HDR was turned on, the screens looked dimmer, and the two screens did not seem to match in brightness. That may be a software issue, but it was noticeable. Turning it off fixed it but to me, why pay that much if its not working well. Overall, this is a strong and well-built laptop. I would recommend it for someone who wants more power and likes the built-in stand design. It is not a bad devoce at all... 4.59 tops! For me, the Lenovo felt better for everyday use.

I received my brand new Zenbook Duo Dual 2025 285H laptop with much excietment, only to be upset that it came with a dent (see image) The laptop itself is amazing. You can see all the online reviews and they're all true; the screen is beautiful, bright, OLED perfect darks. The 285H is very fast, feels snappy, like on a desktop. Now with portable 2 OLED monitors, feels like a dream. I would say this is not a ferrari of laptops, but like a bmw of laptops; luxurious and feature rich, but not gaming grade. I tried some games on it, FPS shooters, forget it, the latency/lag of most modern shooters is unplayable. You can play it, but the stutter/jitteriness of it makes the experience feel clumsy and frustrating. However, I did throw in diablo 3, civilizatoin 5, and a few other games and was smooth as butter >80fps. But getting work done on two screens or getting work done on one and having netflix running on another screen in OLED grade feels very luxurious. However as with two screens, the battery life does get drained very quickly. You have the option of turning it off and just go with 1 screen, but something to keep in mind if you're working with 1 vs 2 screens, that the battery life gets affected accordingly. I know best buy would probably let me exchange, but it's the USB-C port I know I would be judged even though it came like that. You can see it's a pretty big weird dent, it wouldn't be from me trying to plug it in, appears it was dinged or tried to be pried open. Very unfortunate, so it's a Q&A problem so I have to dock the product 1 star for that.

The computer is great. It's ergonomic and strongly built. It works fast and doesn't have a loud fan. I have had problems with the mouse appearing in a totally different place than where it actually is. This has happened off and on repeatedly. The camera for some reason can only focus on one face and it makes the other face grainy even though its the same distance. Asus includes in the purchase a warranty against accidental damage -- EXCEPT for people who buy it from Best Buy. Yes. Specifically Best Buy customers. I think that the reason is that Best Buy wants customers to have to buy their warranty. I'm debating if I should return it just so I can get from a different seller so I have the 1 year warranty from Asus. Its a real bother though so I have been trying to talk to a manager but after waiting for an hour the line was cut. No one tried to get back to me so I tried again to talk to someone and again was told that a manager would get back to me. In the meantime I am running out of days to return the item which perhaps is their plan...

I loved the product. It is very helpful because of the dual screen. The processor is smooth and battery backup is decent.

I have been using this product for over a year, I am delighted so far. I am working as Database Administrator with a lot of data to work with which in turn need more than one screen. This double screen beast with its touchscreen capability works magical. So far I'm impressed and I recommend it

Don't know how I got along before this. Having two displays on a laptop is amazing. My home PC has 4 monitors, so having a portable machine with 2 displays is great. You can get so much done with the extra real estate. The system is actually fast enough that you can run diablo 4 or wow while streaming netflix, albeit at low settings. The displays are sharp, the colors are great and the brightness is superb.

I bought this computer to work remotely with 2 screens and use a full-size keyboard and mouse. Works great from the couch where I can get work done comfortably without hooking a pc up to 2 desktop monitors. Only thing I would like to see is the hinges allowing the screen to go 360 degrees to use the Zenbook as a tablet as well.

The two screens are cool and nice, but the laptop itself is mediocre: - Wi-Fi speeds are terrible despite supporting the 6 Ghz band, I could not get over 500 Mbps on my 5 gigabit Internet sitting next to the router - Battery life is not great at all - Some of the Asus software is annoying, though can be disabled - The laptop failed to set up on first boot and I had to reinstall Windows. Granted this is a Microslop issue, not one with the laptop itself. But Linux has never looked more enticing - The screens are OLED, but the quality is not great. The color accuracy is quite poor, they don't get very bright, and there is motion blur despite being OLED - The Intel Arc graphics overheats very quickly - Charging speeds are slow - I've had issues with the keyboard connection - I've had the laptop drain all its battery once or twice while completely shut off

ABSOLUTELY OBSESSED, Got rid of my MacBook for this. Best decision ever.

This thing is awsome. 2 screens for charging customers, booking schedules and charging clients is a fream come true. Not to mention for ad creative work.
