I can run heavy and light video editing software and I can turn on the computer within seconds with the fast SSD.

The touchpad also being the numeric pad is astounding! They do sell a similar model where the touchpad turns into a screen, haven’t found it yet. Great laptop for the price with no thermal issues and a great design.

The number paid is a feature that is designed as part of the touchpad, and is activated by pressing a button on the top right-hand corner of the touchpad. The numbers don't respond, even when using the simplest of programs (calculator), and is essentially useless. It is one of the reasons I purchased the computer, and if I keep the computer it is with the knowledge that this feature doesn't work. I will probably return this, and get a different computer - not Asus, as I don't trust their workmanship after this experience. As for Best Buy warranty suppport, it was quite bad aslo. I called Best Buy, as the material included with the computer instructed you do to so. I used chat once, and called once, and both times the tech first asked me if I had pre-paid tech support, not bothering to find out why I called, and what was wrong with my computer. Both of them asked me if I wanted to purchase a tech support package, which is ridiculous - I will simply return the computer. I guess if Best Buy wants to cycle through computer returns without their first line of defense (Geek Squad) providing some assistance, this is on them.

To enable or activate the number pad, ensure your finger is being scanned successfully by the reader. The number pad will light up once it was enabled. Also, make sure Windows is current with updates.
ASUS provides free technical support as long as you own the product and a year warranty is also provided for hardware repair.

It's a little smaller compared to my other laptops and when I got it had a dent on the top. The dent so far hasn't affected the laptop. Though its a good bang for its buck

It’s Boot time is fast and the numpad is quite different but nice. Battery should be improved as normally full charge gives around 2-2.5 hrs. Overall a good laptop to have one.

The description said it was "Alexa enabled" but I can't figure out how to use that feature. Otherwise it is everything I expexted. Great computer.
