Fortunately the store had this lower priced as an open box item. I tried several cables and this is my favorite and definitely a keeper. The sound quality with this cable is noticeably clear and detailed, without any harshness. It is a bit stiff, but this is to be expected with high-end cables.

Overall, it made for a very costly but very very flimsy setup.

Great 3.5mm-3.5mm Audio Quest Sound Cable

The sound is so much better than the rating given for the Z506 system now;as different as night and day. It gives great low end sound evenly match;even though it is not a home theatre system.

Just know what you're paying for on this one, it's only going to give you increased performance with high-end audio equipment. If you spend a ton of money on this with a 2001 walkman it's probably not going to give you any increased performance. These are expensive cables, and should only really be purchased at full price for audio enthusiasts.
