I just purchased my Ultra Short Throw Triple Laser Projector LTV-3500 with the 100inch Awol screen. Let me tell you guys it blew my mind and I really recommend it. The fire stick that comes with it works perfectly. The chrome cast works excellent and with the 3D system I felt like I was in the movie theater. I have it in my living room and there’s no problem with the daylight. I really think this is the future of TVs. Plus, I called the Awol company to ask a couple of questions before and after purchasing the product from Best Buy and Steve had excellent responses and customer service. Well done guys great product!

This projector is the best of its type out there, bar none. I am an avid videophile, with a large collection of high-end televisions and projectors. And I am also very technically astute- I have calbration software and a colorimeter, and I calibrate my own displays. I bought this because I wanted the best of the best in terms of color gamut, brightness, and 3D in a large screen size. This unit absolutely delivers. I own a HiSense L9G, and this is every bit as good in terms of color gamut, color accuracy, but with the added benefit of extra brightness and full 3D, including frame-packing (Blu Ray 3D). Plus, you get a motorized zoom lens for fine focusing for various screen sizes up to 150 inches, something else that the excellent HiSense doesn't deliver. The color gamut, at MORE THAN Rec.2020 standard, is the best in a home display of any type that money can buy. It exceeds Quantum dot LED backlit LCD, and even exceeds OLED. The color accuracy out of the box is stellar, with minimal delta-e. It's like getting a free $400 calibration by an ISF professional. Unlike Epson's Laser TV's, this uses a true tri-color laser system. That means separate Red, Green, and Blue lasers for the purest color. Epson's product (and most other laser projectors) use only one laser, and that laser illuminates a rotating phosphor wheel to make light, and then either a motorized rotating color wheel or a series of prisms and dichroic mirrors separate this light into colors. The tri color RGB 3 laser system gives you much better mechanical reliability and much more vivid color.. And, there is absolutely no display technology available that does 3D as well as DLP chips. There is absolutely no ghosting and you get the smoothest, most realistic film-like 3D images with DLP, because the pixels on DLP chips can change exponentially faster than LCD or other technologies. I am a big 3D buff, and I have a 3D 4K OLED C6, 2 Mitsubishi 82" rear projection DLP TVs that I have kept specifically because of their excellent 3D performance, and both ViewSonic and Optoma 3D ceiling projectors. This AWOL 3500 gives by far, bar none, the most awesome 3D image quality I have ever seen anywhere. You get the brightness, the vivid colors, and the smooth images. The entire package. When paired with a cinematic lenticular ALR (ambient light rejecting) screen made specifically for UST projectors (taking advantage of the ultra short throw projection angle to reject ambient light), the image quality is miraculous in a well lit room, rivalling flat panel televisions, and in a dim room it is so astonishing it is almost hard to believe how far we've come technologically compared to just a few years ago. Photographs cannot capture how good this projector's image quality is. Lastly, the manufacturer AWOL provided excellent customer service. A month after I purchased my projector from a third party retailer, AWOL ran a sales promotion, and they were kind enough to retroactively give me the promo deal on a month-old purchase. Highly recommended all around, and be sure to get a good lenticular UST ALR screen to reap all of the benefits!

Having owned three UST projectors over the past few years including the Epson LS800 and the Formovie Theater, I cannot overstate enough how much better the AWOL 3500 is and how far USTs have come in such a short time in general! Biggest Pros: Brightness. I can watch this ALL day long, even with the harsh lighting of my studio/game room. This is truly the only projector I can honestly say that is the case for. No light modifications needed here. Other projectors I have owned were great at night but absolutely unusable during the day. Obviously in a pitch black room this thing shines, but I love the freedom of not having to do that in the middle of the day to play some games. Speaking of games…. Another pro is gaming. PC, Switch, and PS5 look stunning on this. Input lag is essentially nonexistent and the gaming mode function is flawless in execution. I’ve had projectors before where latency forced me to simply not attempt any serious gaming on a projector before. Not the case here at all. 3D has completely blown me away and has given me a reason to invest in a library of 3D titles again (been years since I had a set capable!) . I highly suggest you invest in decent 3D Glasses (XPAND is my go-to). I didn’t realize what I missed till I had it back. Cons: Hate to say it but really none. Setup was easy. Throw distance is more than reasonable for my 150 inch setup. No complaints here, just a happy few weeks of larger than life content. Hopefully my pictures showcase how good this thing is in light and dark alike, even up close on a 150 inch screen!

I recently made my smartest A/V purchase to date when I ordered the AWOL Vision LTV-3500. This thing is truly a marvel of engineering. Lights on, or lights off the LTV-3500 delivers in clarity, brightness, color, and contrast. It also has great built in sound, though I'd recommended a 5.1 surround with Dolby Atmos for a true theater experience. From sports, movies, to games.. this projector handles it all with ease. Become famous among family and friends with this absolute show stopper. I had previously owned the Vava 4k (another DLP UST) for about 2 years and was satisfied overall, until I experienced the AWOL Vision LTV-3500. This beast is a true TV replacement.. though it doesn't hit OLED blacks in ambient light, the image looks magnificent in a darkened room. Overall I am super satisfied with this product and would recommend it to anyone in the market for a very large and stunning TV replacement. #MyAWOLVisionLTV3500

This is my 3rd UST projector. With my previous projectors I was always missing some elements, like color depth, brightness in daylight viewing, low input lag for gaming and dolby vision. The AWOL LTV-3500 projector brings it all together. This is our everyday television so we needed something that could be viewed during a Sat morning movie or an afternoon Football game, when the sun was shining through our windows. You will not find a brighter projector on the market. It has very low input lag and gaming with both the Switch and Playstation are amazing immersive experiences. The colors with 4K HDR out of the box are perfect, I haven't had to adjust them at all; plus the future Dolby Vision update should make the picture pop even more. The way: Even with a 85“ TV I was missing real cinema feeling in my living room, so I decided to go for ultrashortthrow projection because of the easy installation and also to enjoy big screeen TV at daytime. Thats why I researched at the very beginning of this year for about three months to find the best UST on the market. I created spreadsheets on my computer with all the technical features of all flagship models on the market and rated them with a point system. One evening I stumbled upon a review video of a very esteemed reviewer and projection professional from the States. Extremely enthusiastic he rated a device that wasn’t available on the market yet, but it was due to be released very soon. The brands name: Awol Vision, name of the device: LTV-3500. When I entered the data of the device into my table, it was very clear that this unit could (at least on paper/table screen) one of the absolute top models on the market, If these values were to prove true. Since all the points evaluated by the reviewer are also very comprehensible and generally very important for an ultra-short projection, I kept both eyes on it and followed all the news regarding the new manufacturer from California. And then, the Awol came on the market and finally to my home. After 22 years of home theater enthusiasm, I have seen a lot of (UST & regular frontpro-) projectors and have already tested some new brands and devices that came very fresh to the market and then struggled with teething problems, but here every expectation was actually exceeded. The experience: While researching the upcoming purchase of a UST, I looked at the flagship devices of pretty much all the known competitors, but when the Awol LTV-3500 arrived at my place, the screen was hanging and everything was connected, I was really speechless already by the out-of-the-box results. The rich (but in no way artificially inflated) colors, the enormous brightness and the resulting high dynamic range as well as the sharpness of the image are unlike anything else on the market. Trust me, I've seen them (pretty much) all! The RGB laser does its job in terms of brightness and color saturation absolutely outstanding, the operation runs absolutely stable and always smooth, the features leave nothing to be desired and the intrascene contrast is just incredible. The top model-lens delivers such a crisp sharpness and all that features together on the screen is just fun, fun and even more fun on a super high level! The enormous brightness makes it easy to enjoy a large picture in a bright living room (or of course other locations) even during the day. In daytime it serves as a TV and at night it transforms the living room into a perfect home cinema, because in a dark room every projector always shows his absolute top performance and the Awol leaves nothing to be desired for a big screen fan and those who want to become one. Also for fans of video games, it is also suitable without any problems due to its low input lag. The 3D function is, not least due to the brightness performance, an unprecedented result and even tops div. flagship TV models. My personal result: The Awol combines modern design with state-of-the-art technology at the highest level. Cinema, Blu Ray and Ultra HD color spaces are surpassed, the device runs super quietly, super reliably, whoever misses out on the Awol really has only themselves to blame! ...and not only for events like Super Bowl or the Soccer World Cup, you can also quickly set it up somewhere else and enjoy the incredible big picture everywhere with the built-in speakers. I have had traditional projectors for about 10 years now and and decided this year to switch to UST (ultra short throw). I have a large 3D collection and so I was somewhat limited in my selection. I purchased a Vava and was extremely disappointed with the limited picture settings so I returned it and purchased the Awol. My last projector was an Epson 5040 it used pixel doubling for a virtual 4k image that was fairly bright and could be watched in a room that wasn't completely dark. This blows that out of the water. First off this thing is almost too bright. If you have a dark room save yourself some money and get the Awol 2500 as it's the exact same projector that just doesn't have as bright of a picture. The 3500 can be watched in a room with the lights on. In a dark room it's almost too bright. That's not something I thought was possible with a projector. It has such an amazing picture that you really don't have to spend thousands on a screen. My screen was lost in shipment and I put a foldable screen on the wall that I had for traveling and the picture was so impressive I didn't reorder the screen. Color's are so impressive, HDR material really gets to show off. This projector also can be really close to the screen. I have mine 11 inches in front of the screen for a 120 inch picture.

#myawolvisionltv3500 The AWOL Vision LTV 3500 is an exceptional ultra short throw projector. Over the years, I’ve enjoyed LCD and Oled tv’s…but they just at times, don’t look ‘real’ to me…like I’m watching something created, not filmed. With the AWOL 3500….this is definitely not the case. It’s images are so crisp, lifelike, and realistic. It makes viewing entertainment an event. Over the last 6 months, I can attest the 3500 is bright. The ansi lumens are legit, enough to replace a TV, even in a space with less than perfect conditions. In combination with one of AWOL’s ALR Cinema screens and it’s excellent ambient light rejecting qualities…you’ll be impressed with a stunningly sharp picture, amazing sequential contrast, and vibrant lifelike colors…that allow even daytime viewing to be a real option. We have ours set up in the living room, with two large windows, an average amount of ambient light…and the projector’s picture still shines through brilliantly. Light controlled viewing…is just stunning. I have to mention a few more really cool things about this ultra short throw projector from AWOL. The minimal footprint in comparison to a TV setup is awesome. The wide viewing angles and sheer size of a large screen, makes viewing a pleasure for family/friends wherever they watch. Sports, movies, gaming, streaming all look outstanding. The immersion you experience with a giant screen in comparison to the average tv is totally tangible. It’s why we go to the movies…to feel, to be awed by the cinematic experience…the featured show is depicted as it was intended to be. With the AWOL Vision, you can enjoy this in the comfort of your home…and the popcorn is cheaper! The AWOL 3500 is my first projector. Many of us early on, took a chance on a new company, and have been rewarded with an amazing, high quality product…fantastic customer service…and follow through with adding 3D. With Dolby Vision in the pipeline, AWOL will continue to separate and differentiate itself from the competition. If you’re in the market for a UST projector…the AWOL Vision LTV 3500 and ALR cinematic screen should be at the top of your list. I’ve been thrilled with my purchase. Honestly, each day I power it on…I smile!

This is not intended to be a technical review. There are many out here. Just Google it. Anyway, you go about this AWOL projector, all the professional and customer reviews are stellar. I never considered purchasing a projector. I did not even know how these are supposed to be set up. I thought it was difficult to set up and all the trouble one has to go through, was not really worth it for me. I was very happy with a Samsung 4K TV but I was also open to eventually increase the size of it but I had space and wall limitations. Throw in the AWOL which I stumbled upon and a motorized 120-inch screen. All of a sudden, I have the best personal cinema in my basement. Honestly, this is the best purchase I have made in the last decade. I am a techno person. I have all sorts of devices but I never thought that this would TOP everything I own. The feeling one gets when watching anything and I mean really anything: videos, streaming, Blu rays, 4K’s, YouTube, TV, is just beyond belief. The cinema feeling ( which I abandoned going to ), is very real. Now, I own this cinema experience in my own home and can reproduce it at any given time thanks to AWOL. Combine the amazing colors, the 3500 Ansi Lumens, the easy way to install and set up, the active 3D feature (which for me was a big seller), Dolby Atmos, upcoming Dolby Vision and enhanced black levels and you have the best technology at your fingertips. I could go on and on about my feelings with respect to the AWOL unit but I won’t. I really think this is the best projector out there. Add to that an outstanding customer service, a very active and helpful Facebook group and you really cannot go wrong. If you are looking to purchase a projector, look no further. Hello… I do not usually write reviews. However as a proud owner of the AWOL 3500 projector and 120 inch cinematic screen I feel I should. I was an early adapter…purchasing it through Indiegogo. Because it was quite inexpensive , I was little worried about a company I never heard of. I the took the plunge, and I am glad I did. I do not have a dedicated theatre room so I needed a lot of light to take the place of my sony 75 led. Wonderful picture even during a fairly lit room.Great focus, great color, great contrast…right out of the box. I had one small question…they answered it right away. I did all the set up except installing the screen. I highly recommend this projector. Soon, they will have dolby vision and 3d…all downloaded to the projector. Can’t wait. Including all components, receiver, dvd player, speakers, projector, screen, etc….all in less than 5500 dollars. I am not an expert however I think this was an incredible purchase. And know you can purchase it through Best Buy or Amazon and not worry about dealing with a start up company! Just in time for football season...

Finally, a company that gets it. I have been using projectors for the last 15 years, and the Awolvision 2500 is my first UST. After months of research, I finally decided on another brand, a few weeks later Awolvision announced their launch, so I cancelled my order for the other projector and went with Awol. It was one of the best decisions I have made in a very long time The build quality is superb, it is a little larger than some of its competitors, but I don’t find that to be a problem. In the world of UST projectors, placement is everything, and this will need some a bit force to budge it, which is nice especially if you have little kids running around. The color, brightness and contrast are excellent. Out of the box, the image reproduction is fantastic, and it is even better with some tweaks and calibrating. I am amazed at how bright the 2500 is and I am curious to compare it to the 3500, which I am considering purchasing to replace my tv in the family room. Awolvision recently released an update that added 3D to the projector and Dolby Vision is coming in the future. The team is very professional and quick to reply to support emails and they seem to be very committed to providing outstanding customer support. Huge, bright, and exciting entertainment is now in my loft with the AWOL projector. It’s SO beautiful and has so many options. I can’t be much happier with my setup. Movies and sports are an upgraded performance and it’s really difficult to come downstairs! The colors are stunning, the brightness can be seen from outer space (if I open the black out drapes) and the wide screen certainly feels like a theater experience. I cannot recommend this projector. It’s my first projector and I feel like I’ve been spoiled with this product. I’ve got a 100” screen attached to Denon and Martin Logan components / speakers. I received my AWOL LTV 3500 a couple of days ago. All I have to say is WOW! From the moment I turned it on, to watching my favorite movies, the brightness and color are so vivid it’s looks like the characters are popping out of the screen. Picture looks great with the lights on as well. The set up was easy and the calibration was spot on right out if the box. I’ve owned a few projectors in this class and AWOL is the best by far. I called customer service because I had a question regarding the remote and they answered the phone. Customer service was great. Highly recommended.

I gotta say something about the AWOL 3500 after using it for three weeks - more people need to know about this bad boy! I hooked it up with an ALR screen and even in broad daylight, the brightness is off the charts thanks to its 3500 lumens. ( This is not a technical review, simply my feelings about using the LTV-3500 after the first month of ownership. ) —— TL;DR version: The AWOL Vision LTV-3500 has easily exceeded my expectations. It turns whatever you are watching into a spectacle. —— I have been looking for a replacement for my primary 75” LCD TV purchased in 2016. It had been slightly damaged in a move which ended up leaving inconsistent light levels (it appeared to have a dark smudge in the middle of the screen in certain viewing conditions). I was also mildly disappointed with its 3D picture quality (ghosting and crosstalk in most scenes). Having spent a couple of months researching LED, OLED, projectors, and Ultra Short Throw projectors I settled on the AWOL LTV-3500. I have paired it with a motorized, floor-rising VividStorm 120” ultra short throw (UST) ambient light rejecting (ALR) screen. I could not be happier with the performance of the LTV-3500 as a full-time replacement for my 75” LCD TV. 3-D Performance:  Having had disappointing experiences with LED 3D TVs in the past, I was resigned to the idea that I just couldn’t achieve a near theatrical presentation at home. I was wrong! The LTV-3500 has blown me away. Paired with DLP-Sync active shutter glasses (purchased separately online), the 3D picture is completely solid with absolutely no crosstalk or ghosting, seemingly no flicker from ambient light sources and instant, easy syncing. With such a bright, clear 3D image at 120”, I am very happy with 3D at home… for the first time. Gaming:  Gaming with a Playstation 5 the LTV-3500 has been a very good experience. I’ve played fast racing games (Wipeout, GT7), action RPGs (Diablo 3, Final Fantasy 7 Remake), platformers (Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart, Sackboy A Big Adventure) and haven’t had any issues with input lag. Watching HD streaming content:  Streaming from the included Fire TV Stick 4k Max, that neatly tucks into a panel at the rear of the projector, looks great. I also have a 4k Apple TV which performs similarly to the Fire TV. Viewing programming from Amazon Prime, Netflix, Disney+, Paramount+, Apple TV+ and other services on the 3500 has transformed programs from “a show on TV” to “an event” in my living room. 4K UHD and HD Blu-ray discs do not disappoint and really show off what the 3500 is best at: brightness, contrast and color reproduction ability. Pair the LTV-3500 with a good UST ALR screen. It is worth the investment for enjoyment in varied lighting conditions and improved contrast overall. I’m very pleased with the 120” VividStorm. The screen came with a USB wireless dongle to plug into one of the USB ports on the projector. It raises and lowers the screen when the projector power is turned on and off. It works without any setup. Areas of improvement: First, the system menus take some fiddling to fully understand. Second, the black levels aren’t perfect but the brightness, contrast and color fidelity more than make up for it. Dolby Vision (HDR) is currently in the works which will be a welcome addition. Overall, I would highly recommend the AWOL Vision LTV-3500 to anyone looking to transform their TV/Movie/3D watching and game-playing into a spectacle. It is truly transformative. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I need to watch something.

This projector is AMAZINNNNNNNNG!!!!!!!!!!!!! It took me 5 years to finally make the jump and buy a projector and WHAT A BEAST! My friends will tell you how much I brag about it but I am so happy of that purchase, i got to share it! I am not a projector expert nor have the deepest pockets so I need to do my research to find that gem to watch movies on because I love the big screen! I received the combo AWOL 3500 + 120” cinematic screen. Let’s start with the most important: customer support! As a newbie, I need to find a projector that could be reverse wall mounted and to my good surprise not only is the AWOL capable of doing it, the customer support team helped me every step of the way delivering such a beautiful result. This is the perfect projector for movies affectionados or people with pets living the city life! Indeed, with cats running and jumping around in a small space like we have in San Francisco, the reverse wall mount in a must, it protects your pets that won’t stop jumping in front of the projector stopping the movie from playing (eye care projection is a must with children in the house) and it is a space savior as you won’t need to buy a piece of furniture. I gained so much space that way, and you could too! On top of that of my favorite thing to do when I host is to display art work while music plays through the sounds system! As you can experience through the pictures below, the projector offers out of the box - standard settings on for this newbie - vibrant colors, stunning immerse pictures and renderings, and above all seamless transition between brighter and darker scenes that my old iPhone 10 XR can’t truely capture. Every single details on the image are crisp! Packing 3,500 ANSI lumens, AWOL3500 works with and without ambient light! The internal speakers are great and can get loud without any issues yet leveraging the eARC output to take advantage of Dolby Atmos can recreate in the comfort of your home that Movie Theater experience that you have been dreaming for! But wait for it…. It is also an amazing projector to watch sports or regular TV and with that size you can watching 4 games at the same time without losing track of your teams! You just need some friends, beers, and some Buffalo wings to make it a fun time. I can’t wait to watch the Super Bowl on it! I ordered a gaming console to start playing on it because the input lag time is so good from what I have been reading. A truly versatile projector that I use every single day! Time for me to go back to watching my movie!!!!! Get one, you won’t regret it. 5 stars !!!!!!

AWOL Vision's 2022 4K Tri-Laser Competition. #myawolvisionltv3500 My review; Stunning! Stunning! Stunning! AWOL 3500 4K Tri-Laser projector, this is how I described this Projector. I used normal fix white screen in my set-up, if ALR screen, it will be top-notch viewing and enjoyment. The black level in some of my pictures i send here, can tell how black is black and it doesn't caused others scene to be dark, and bright scene is perfectly stand out on the same scene even is dark. One of the pictures, the dust on the costumes is so clear it ready pop-out. The hair is so dark and details and you can literally count it. The eARC from AWOL had produced more details that I didn't experience before on the same movies I had watch before. All setting are default, after run in then I will slowly do fine tuning, by then I can't imagine the pictures will be another level-up. Pictures taken from my Samsung A51 phone.

Great projector wonderful view, and I'm still on a old screen havent even upgraded yet!!! And the upgrade is worth it even better.
