The agents set it up fine but no instructions on how to use. I had someone else come it and it works a little better but goes "off kilter" occasionally. I would recommend follow ups to see if all is working properly.

Everything worked ok except that he put the sound bar in front of the receptors on the TV for the remote and I had to move it down to a drawer in the TV stand that I pulled out.
Guys were nice but felt they did not do a complete

The guys came and installed the sound bar, sub, and satellite speakers but did not program the universal remote that came with the Bose system. They tried to sell me a universal remote and another install but we declined. When I called and questioned why my remote wasn't programed I was told it was another charge to do that. This is not what we were told when we purchased the units and scheduled the install! If the remote is part of the system it should be part of the install!!

I had to stress to the technician that I did not want to see any scratches due to his negligence. He scratched the screen slightly but luckily the film was still applied.

Since it took longer to connect everything the verbal instruction was quick & limited .As an 83 y/o it hasn’t been easy or even possible to operate all 3 remotes. I wish I hadn’t purchased the sound bar. It was my fault for the length of time it took the techs as I was unable to provide passwords that were needed during the installation.

The guys they sent told me it can’t be mounted and it didn’t come with a mounting kit , which it did Couse they didn’t want to do it even though I paid for it .

Wasn’t too pleased with the installation. I requested for all the speakers to be synchronized with another one I had purchased prior and the tech didn’t do it. In fact, he claimed that was not possible nor necessary. Initially, I was hoping after the installation the sound experience from having a Geek Squad tech was going to be ebullient and flawless but it has not.

It all sucks
The $350 Universal Harmony remote, NEVER works properly
The $350 Yamaha 5.1 receiver shuts off ( bought at BestBuy) if you turn up the volume

Our technician had a dufficult time. Our wifi went out when he worked on setup and he was unable to get it back on. My wife works from home. I had to walk them thru getting it back up and working over the phone while i was at work. He was a nice guy thougj.

2-10-22 I purchased a Ring Doorbell, Webroot software, & Total Tech 2 year service package to get the doorbell installed by the Geek Squad & trouble shoot our previously purchased sound system that shuts itself off randomly, in the Burleson, TX store. I was told by Elijah, the man that identified himself as the Department Manager, my Ring Doorbell would be installed 2-15-22 between 12-8. No one contacted me until an email arrived at 1:00am on 2-15-22 rescheduling my appointment to arrive 7:00am-1:00pm which I could not do since it was only 6 hour notice! After multiple phone calls, Dale, with Installs, Inc., a sub contractor that installs Best Buy's Ring Doorbells, arrived 2-19-22. He was nice but did not install it correctly. He forgot to attach the "jumper cable" to our existing home chime to disable it. So, I had to call again & this time reached an inexperienced representative, Taylor, that canceled my 2-22-22 appointment & rescheduled it for 2-24-22. So, the Ring Doorbell I purchased on 2-10-22 was finally operational 2-24-22 after multiple frustrating phone calls!! My experience was horrible!!

We purchased a replacement Onkyo receiver from best buy after an in home inspection. The scheduled set-up was not completed. While the TV, FireTV stick and surround sound speakers were reconnected, ALL of the other components were not (BlueRay, Turntable, CD Player, PC) and the Zone 2 speakers were not connected and tested. I was left instructions to finish the set-up and calibration of the existing surround sound speakers.

Called numerous times throughout the day, even got an attitude from a representative. They were persistent that they were going to come in sometime throughout the day and never did. Called to reschedule, filed multiple complaints and was told I was going to receive compensation but never did. Resulting in us missing the World Series. As a My Best Buy Plus Member I was very disappointed with my purchases.

The service tech was polite and helpful.Fixed in 15 minutes.Five stars for the tech. One star for Best Buy rep. Saying your sound bar extended warranty will cover it only to get a email saying I cancelled the appointment which I did not and the email said now it’s not covered.100 bucks for 15 minutes?

Absolutely horrible. 2nd no show appointment. Then hold time was over 30 minutes to request a refund. And the best part the refund did not process all the way. They were able to conveniently cancel the cheaper part of service"system didn't update" so. Ow I'm going to have to call back to ensure the 2nd portion gets cancelled and my refund is processed correct lt. Amazing how they won't schedule an appointment until you pay but then have the. Erve to not show up not once but twice and not even call to say sorry, we are running late.
