The sound bar hasn’t been working for the past few weeks. I paid to have it repaired and it’s still not working. I’m very disappointed with the Geek Squad service.

the Geek Squad agent spent 3 hours TRYING to hook up my BOSE sound bar and failed to do so. He also could not hook up my T V back to normal. I needed to call Comcast to hook it up.

They did not help with anything and i had to go two weeks without it working before someone would replace my soundbar. Guys were ok but offered nothing. Best buy has the worst support of all time you guys should be ashamed with how you help customers.

Third party installer showed up a hour and a half late. I have to unplug and plug back in the soundbar each time in order for it to work. While watching programs T.V. Turns off by itself. Very frustrating.

First of all, Our problem was not installing a sound bar, it was our appleTV connection. The very nice techs, told us our AppleTV advise was not working, that they can’t be repaired & we needed a new one. We spent $150.00 on a new one. Our daughter took the old one thinking it wasn’t dead. She installed it on her TV. We didn’t need a new one! We are unhappy!

Bad, as a customer, be prepared to wait a very long time for service or installation. Also, my tech put my sound bar where he wanted to put it even though I ask him to move it just a little to the left about 10inches and up about 2inches. I am disabled and can not remount it by myself. Please come back and do it right please. Jeff

This ended up being too complicated for the techs. Eventually most things got hooked up, however the wires were installed in such a way that the tv stand was not sitting correctly, and we had to reroute the wires properly to fix that. Also the earphones were not hooked up at all, which we eventually fixed ourselves,

I am very disappointed in the service I have received. I went into the store at the end of March and spent nearly 3500.00 on a sound system- I have had 5 visits from geek squad, spent extra $$ to get things here before the scheduled install and it looks like it may not be resolved until end of May. I have had to reorder products that were wrong.... I travel and since they have not been able to get things done as promised- I have to keep rescheduling. Today they sent one man out for 2-man job so I am rescheduled for May 24. Which means it will be at least 10 weeks before this is resolved. The guys that come out are very polite and are doing their best - but there is NO coordination. I would never use Best buy again for this kind of work.

The set up of Bose sound bar could not be completely done at the time of service. It was hooked up to new TV (which he installed); however, we could not integrate with DISH remote. That meant using two remotes: one for on/off and the other for all other functions. However satisfied with all other aspects of set up.

Only thing I got out of it is the soundbar was a big one so he took out, setup on TV stand, powered up. Overall I don't think it was worth paying the $49 for basic audio setup as he didn't do much beyond. It turns out that he didn't use the HDMI cable that came with it and almost walked off with it and gave me an optical audio cable. After he left, I setup with HDMI and did all the audio adjustments and then this soundbar was truly ready for action.

Technician made excuses for why certain pieces of equipment did not work or why he couldn't hook it up and even went so far as to forget to hook up the bass box for the speaker. To date it's not been hooked up yet. I'm very unhappy with his professionalism and the fact he was incapable of doing the job correctly.

The tech person arrived and said he could not install either the TV or sound bar because the Tv mount was not right. He was asked what kind of mount was needed and he said he didn't know. It seems it is his job to know what components will work. If I knew all the answers, I wouldn't need Geek Squad help. I have hired an AV company and they knew exactly what was needed. TV works great. I think my days with Total tech support are over. Although, up until now, the service has been excellent. I might just chalk this experience e up to a "bad apple". I clicked on "No" when asked if I would recommend Geek Squad service to a friend. Actually, I have been a huge advocate until this most recent experience. There should be a maybe option.
The tech told me I wasn't being respectful and then he and his partner walked out the door.

The Geek Squad representative who delivered the Arc sound bar spent about an hour chatting with Sonos technical support to sync the soundbar with our iPhones. We thought the installation would be much easier.
