The guy came and agreed with me that the receiver did not sound good. He told me that there was no adjustments he could make, and that I was lied to when I was told that the speakers I got were good. He made a few adjustments, and it sounded worse when he left, than when he got to my house.

There was no operating documentation left after installing the two expensive pieces of gear !!!! The installation concluded with the sound being weak and raspy !!! In no way a good value for the money. Design flaws in the electronics along with a rushed installation make this a bad buy.
Adding external audio sources has become extremely common, and we appreciate you choosing Best Buy and the Geek Squad for the upgrade and installation. It makes sense that you’d expect amazing sound quality as a result, and learning that was not the outcome for you is definitely not the feedback we’d hope to hear. In many cases, manufacturers are no longer including instructions inside the packaging, but continue to offer that information online. Soundbar volume control using cable remote stopped working within the first hour after installation. Called Geek Squad. Joshua kept asking me to call the manufactureron my own.

If I could rate this a zero, I would. This has been the most frustrating process that I have ever been a part of. No communication, then incorrect communication, then no-shows on appointment times…a complete cluster!

The agents came in and connected my new stereo with 3 components. Work for a couple of days and now does not work other than TV. Advised to check all connections and they where all connected as they had done. Then the corona virus hit and unable to get the problem readdressed.

Sometimes when I turn the TV off the sound bar will not work I don’t understand why and it’s hard to have the Geek Squad repair come and fix it even though I have a four year warranty

My AVR sound system was not connected properly. It ws hooked up as though it is a cheap sound bar. Not working correctly so i have to figure out how to move the TV away from the wall so i can correct the plug ins! Argh, 50 wasted,not impressed.
No service today but MasterCard was charged $49.99

Been on hold for 1 hour and 22 min so far trying to get thischarge off my MasterCard. Terrible customer service. Purchased TV in May but my MC being charged today for basic audio set up. What?? I did not authorize this charge today. I had no service performed today

Installation date kept changing and pushed further out. I’m a total tech member and didn’t expect to have to wait almost a month for this install. I had to pay a neighbor to hook it up for me.

I scheduled this service when I bought a TV. Best Buy then res hulled it without my consent. They then canceled the appointment with no explanation. Then I was told they didn’t have the TV I bought. Trying to resolve this online or via the phone was IMPOSSIBLE!

The tech lacked knowledge trying to set my system, which I purchased from Best Buy. I spent hours setting up the appointment and more hours trying to follow up on why tech did not keep the followup appointment. I paid for the service and did not get proper help.

This was the worst buying experience I’ve ever had. They didn’t go the install correctly so I had to hire my own techs come out and fix the mess. Fidget about calling them it’s so time consuming and you can’t get to the right person to help you. No one cares.

The agent did not know much about Bose speakers. I will say he was contracted by Best Buy. He got it working but not how it was suppose to be. Afterward I kept trouble shooting until I got it right. So that was a waisted service call.

That’s why I didn’t send out geek squad but they sent a third-party to install the third-party was very unprofessional and didn’t do a very good job of the install I had to return my sound bar and my rear speakers
