I bought these when they were highly discounted at $140 and still felt they were too expensive for what you get. I'm a major online reviewer before getting products and I purchased this based off of name recognition and thought I would see what the hype was about. I loved the sound they output but wasn't sure if I could justify the price. Purchased another pair on amazon that had extremely good reviews and were only $35. I felt the $35 pair outshined these in both sound quality and bass. I would give the beats headphones a nod in the looks department because they're beautiful looking, but not worth the money for me when I use them primarily for working out. Do your research and you can find very nice headphones at a fraction of the price.
