Look for this adaptor in the Apple section - not the general PC adaptors. This adaptor can be used to run 2K LED monitors from a PC with a mini-port. I have used this adaptor for several weeks. It is essentially plug-and-play. I am using a 23" 2K monitor, run off a Lenovo X230. The monitor is being used for extensive spreadsheet applications; often with multiple spreads open at the same time. Similar adaptors do not provide the full 2K capabilities for some reason. While this adaptor is 3x the price of some others, it is the only one that works!

I thought you needed to use Microsoft accessories with a Surface. The Best Buy associate suggested this when the Microsoft cable was out of stock. Worked right out of the box. Nice to know. I would never have tried it.

This item is great. It's easy to use and the quality of the image and sound is great. The price is normal compared with other products that offer the same functionality.

I have two of these and they work great. I use one for a multiple screen home office setup and the other to stream videos from my computer to my big screen TV. These do not require any programs to be downloaded and will run the audio as well as the video. - Plug and play - Mac compatible -- Special note for Mac users: these cannot be used off of a splitter to create a multiple monitor display (other than mirrored). You will need to run an additional display from a USB or other display port to do this.

The end of this is too big to seat correctly in the system. If you want to get out your knife and chisel it away, it will work fine, but it's probably better to buy the Microsoft ones since they work even more beautifully

This is not a complicated device. But if it doesn't work and you are giving a presentation to hundreds of people it can make you look bad. This one works reliably. gb

I purchase this to use with my laptop and it worked great. The quality is excellent for the price. I purchased from best buy because they had the lowest price.

I was looking for away to connect my Mac laptop to my tv to watch movies on Netflix or off Redbox or YouTube or anything online. It's so easy to plug in computer and into a HDMI wire that connects to the back of your tv and instantly you'll have great sound and quality on your tv. My tv isn't a smart TV so this wire made it smart lol!

I was able to watch a downloaded, paid for, movie from my tablet, on to my HDTV so we could watch it as a family.

Working great, had it for several days. No digital dead pixels. Seems very durable. Used matching price to bring it down by half. Definitely worth it.

I've owned products like this before but they all failed on me. I've had this one for a couple weeks now and it's perfect. Very high build quality.

Purchased this to use with my Macbook pro. Great price. Use to connect to my TV with HDMI cable. This adapter is short so be sure your HDMI cable is long enough. It streams video and audio so no need for an extra audio cable.

This product does what it is meant for. Displays second screen monitor for Mac Pro with ease. Normal work is fine and movies are also good quality.

Bought as a replacement for a Kamor adapter that went out, this cable has performed great. It's a bit stiff but feels well built and has not exhibited any quality issues yet. The grips on both ends is a welcome bonus.

Needed a good HDMI adapter for my Macbook Air to hook to my tv and this one is great! I like it much better than the Rocketfish branded adapter

Its a pretty cool product, my new laptop did not have a HDMI so this was handy to use in office and at home to connect with my home theater.

My sons older MacBook Pro didn't have an HDMI output. This works great and was priced right.

Needed this for a presentation and it did not fail me. So far it works well and images on the big screen show up perfectly. Happy with it!
