Unfortunately, the MackBook Air does not have an HDMI Port, so I bought the Belkin HDMI Adapter in order to make the connection. It works great. I simply plugged into the Thunderbolt port on my Mac, and then into the HDMI port on the monitor. It was a simple plug and play.
