Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this so I could attach a separate monitor to my macbook pro and also to my Samsung TV for webcasts. Cord is very thick and sturdy and does its job. No complaints and no connection problems. I finally could get rid of my old VGA connectors.

Belkin - mini display to hdmi

Needless to say, I wish I would have really read reviews and bought this first. The other cables would keep disconnecting my second display even when working on it.. The Belkin mini display to hdmi worked and works perfect since the day I got it. If you are looking for an extended desktop or additional display this is a overall good product.

It just works!

HDMI connections can be finicky but so far, my connections between my laptop and a television and my laptop and a projector have been rock solid. The adapter does get a little warm during prolonged use but it's been flawless so far.

The interesting thing though is that since it's not white and located in the Apple section it was half the cost. They are the same exact thing. Look around and don't spend too much money due to product placement.

Broke within two weeks

After that it started acting glitchy only to stop working completely one day. If I wasn't within the return date I wouldn't have gotten a replacement. But this second is working well... so far.
