Great adaptor but Thunderbolt was req'd

Ended up using a Thunderbolt cable directly from Apple. I had compatibility issues and required a Thunderbolt cable instead. Still think this is a great product, though.

It does that, but the computer does not recognize it for watching webinars, etc unless the computer is inuse.

Not for professionals

Could never get the color fidelity up to snuff. Ended up replacing it with a direct cable from the laptop's mini display port (Thunderbolt) to the display port on the monitor (not HDMI). That fixed the problem insantly. Best Buy doesn't sell the cable we needed. Had to buy it online.

Use Insignia Brand for Surface pro 3
